A huge money saver and headache savior all in one! Keystone Tax and Accounting is your one-stop-shop for all of your personalized tax, accounting or consulting needs. Ellen and her professional team came into the picture after a much needed, long and over due transition from our previous CPA, who continuously dropped the ball with handling our account. They were constantly late on our business tax filings which resulted in costly penalty fees and didn't even seem to consider our most basic business needs. As an extremely busy small business owner juggling the responsibilities of running a restaurant full-time, tax season is the one event that I absolutely dread dealing with every year and never look forward to completing. So it's such a blessing to have Ellen provide helpful solutions to all of my tax and accounting questions and needs, my only regret is not switching over any sooner! The things I appreciate about Ellen is her timely communication, personableness and expertise. She is always quick to respond to any concerns in a timely manner and gently handles your needs with the upmost professionalism. She has kindly taken the time to meet with my family and I at our restaurant to not only get to know us better as clients, but to also build a stronger lasting relationship in the community of Sunnyvale. If you are looking for someone who is passionate, dedicated and working on growing and improving their practice, then Ellen and her team are going to be the perfect fit for you. read more

I left a voicemail message, and have not heard back from them for over 24 hours. Shame really, because their office is about four blocks away. Ended up getting someone else to do my taxes read more

Ellen was very rude! No customer service for potential clients. She literally said "I am busy and don't have time to answer your questions." I do not know how she has other 5 star ratings I do not recommend her services at all! I'm not sure if she even wants new clients. read more

We are very happy with our experience at Keystone Tax and Accounting. Last year Ellen helped us with our complicated taxes, gave very good pieces of advice how to plan in advance, followed up in the end of the year to make sure we planned it right. Now we finished our tax return for 2017, stress free, saved a very good sum of money. I highly recommend Ellen as a very responsible, knowledgeable and precise professional! read more

Ellen has been the most professional and efficient tax preparer I've worked with. I wanted to update my review since we've finished our taxes and I am happy with how quickly she prepared our business and family's tax returns! I just read another person's review commenting "I am not sure if she even wants new clients", but given that the review was left in October. I'm not sure if people realize that besides April, October is also a very busy month for tax in regards to finishing up extended tax returns. I'm sure Ellen was busy making sure her current clients were getting their taxes done on time. ANYWAYS, Ellen is great and her team is kind and professional. read more

After our tax person retired last year, I was in search of someone who could help with our 2017 return. After considerable research, I contacted Ellen; she responded quickly and we arranged a meeting to discuss my return. I was originally a little put off by what this year's return cost- but after seeing the final result, I realized I would have been WAY over my head in attempting to do it myself; the cost was absolutely justified. Ellen did a great job, correspondence was excellent; she asked questions to clarify if what I had submitted initially wasn't clear. I now feel totally at ease that my taxes were completed and submitted correctly. I'm so relieved that I have found a competent and professional person for future tax issues! I highly recommend Ellen if you're looking for not just the average tax preparer. read more

Ellen came highly recommended from a colleague. I worked with her with very complex taxes, that involved multiple states and their local taxes. She is the only CPA here in the bay area that is knowledgable in handling taxes for any state. Ellen works efficiently, she is responsive and patiently answered all my questions. She's very reliable. I'm planning to use her services again. read more

Ellen was great! We had an initial meeting where she answered a million of my questions and let me know how things would go. She has an online secure portal so that I can upload everything from the comfort of my own home. She even showed me options before she submitted my taxes to see how to make what I owe better. She did a great job and a very reasonable price! read more

I found Ellen to be a fantastic expert of tax accounting with detailed knowledge of tiny nuances of the tax code. Highly recommend her.

Ellen prepared our complicated personal and business taxes for the past couple of years. Each year we had different complexities involved but Ellen made the whole process painless and stress-free. Ellen is very responsive by phone and email and always would return my call the same day. She was very detail-oriented and diligent. She also helped us save $900 in credits for one of our tax returns. She is very experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of tax law. Even after we filed, we needed some additional tax advice. Any question we asked, Ellen knew the answer and would quickly get back to us. If you want to save money on your taxes, I would recommend using Ellen. read more
