When you quote someone for work and explain the processes and steps, but the prep work is not done as bid, that's deceitful. Paying upgraded costs for extra labor to tape off trusses and beams, but having guys sitting in the truck, or literally holding the garden hose for the guy pressure washing is ridiculous; taking hour long smoke breaks multiple times per day, leaving cigarette butts all over my yard, barn and loft, as well as beer cans, soda bottles, snack trash, etc is not acceptable. Lastly, I asked for the balance due for all work performed and well as pending work and the owner quotes me a number which I paid that day. However, he became indignant because, weeks later I ask for a refund for the work that was still not complete, and he states that he didn't include the other work in that number I paid. I did not have this company come back to finish and I would not recommend them to anyone.
