They have not expressed any apprehension or resistance in to going to the dentist since they have begun with Dr Blackburn which is well worth the cost to me even if his office is not within the network of my dental insurance plan. Dr Blackburn is not only a personable professional; he is also one who has extensive experience implemented into the quality to his services. He and his staff are knowledgeable, capable, and efficient. They provide a quality experience from the moment you enter the spacious home-like atmosphere of a waiting room, the comfort of private exam rooms and the finished friendly checkout process. You feel like a valued patient from beginning to end. COVID precautions are implemented by this office as masks are required unless in the exam/procedure process. Hand sanitizer is available and easily accessible. Social distancing is easy in the waiting area and staggered appointment schedules. Temperatures are taken for patients and screening questions are asked of everyone. Five stars and close to home, so I called and left a message. Within 15 minutes, Dr. Eric Angstadt called me back. He asked if I was in pain, or if I could wait until the following day. I opted to wait. I had the pleasure of both Drs. Eric and John Angstadt attend to my broken tooth. No pain, no drilling, and it was temporarily fixed in 20 minutes! Went back a week later for a temporary crown, and once again, I had to call after-hours because of some discomfort. Dr. Eric happened to be in the office and had me come right over. A few tweaks with the drill and BAM! Problem solved! I'm not a fan of dentists, but I'm a HUGE fan of excellent customer service and response time. The receptionist here was horrible. She was condescending and snarky throughout the duration of my call. She assumed that I knew nothing about how insurance works (that the provider has to contact the insurance company for an estimated cost) and talked down to me throughout the phone call. She insinuated that I was wasting her time and as a new mother, I don't have time to be treated in this manner. I will be finding a new dentist for him today. We only had planned on him staying with northeast because they were the ones that had done the procedure in the first place. I am sure Connie does wonderful work and is civil, however the receptionist literally drove us away. Never have I been so offended about what should have been a simple business call. Don't go here if you expect to be treated in a civil manner.

The dental assistant spent time with me before the dentist came in and explained everything that they would do, answered all of my questions above and beyond ANYONE ever has! Dr. Reitz came in and already knew everything about my case, explained everything and answered all of my questions. The treatment was done in a timely manner and the results were AMAZING! After he was complete, he discussed future options and explained how & why I need it and even drew an explanation on the paper on the tray! He was able to show what I needed done and the difference between the options I have to chose from! Never felt forced to make a decision or a bother at all and that is very important to me. My only regret is that I didn't come to Dr. Reitz's officer SOONER! He and his staff are the best dentist office I have been to! I would recommend them to everyone I know!
