This review is for Khoi Pham at Keypoint Credit Union. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. She had been considering investing in CDs for some time now but was reluctant to do so as she had limited knowledge about it. Though the staff at the credit union is very knowledgeable and helpful, she was afraid that she still would not fully understand their explanation as English is not her primary language. It was not until she was introduced to Khoi at the bank where she changed her mind. He was patient, friendly and very informative. He made the transaction easy and gave her peace of mind. The new location is much brighter and welcoming than the old one. I did have a tiny problem finding it and once there, finding parking, but it isn't a big deal. I was helped by Anahi C. with a personal loan. It was very easy to see that she really cares about helping her customers. She was personable and professional. It was actually fun to fill out the forms for the loan. The whole vibe in this new location does feel more upbeat and the people do seem to be having fun. And they are open 7 days a week! I have been a member here for a few years now and there were a handful of times that something came up on a Sunday. Now, I can just pay them a visit. It is really quite convenient. They have no interest in serving the customer or making money. Applied for a loan online; it said "success! You're approved. A bank rep will contact you soon!" It's been 10 days and crickets so far. What kind of bank doesn't follow up on an approved loan application? That's their core business! Horrible customer service. I just had a newborn and I am waiting for my EDD state disability to kick in. Spoke with a woman named Joanne or Joanna ? And she was unprofessional and rude to me over the phone. I reached out stating that I just had a baby and waiting for SD benefits to process so that I can gladly make my payment that is due on the 21st. She asked me if I had any family members or if I am "married" to help pay my bill and I stated that I do not which is why I am calling to see for options. Overall, Super rude. Did not want to help me. Now I am thinking what to do and feeling stressed about this payment. I cannot wait to get off of Keypoint and move on with Stanford Credit Union. read more

I placed a check into the ATM machine on 2/21/2023 that my mother wrote to me. I admit her handwriting is pretty messy and the ATM machine was unable to validate her signature. I am not sure the exact time, my deposit was canceled. A few days later, I realized the check never posted. I called Customer Service to find out a "legal hold" was placed on the check for the signature. I explained if they look at the previous check scans, they can compare to see it is in fact the same writing....I call back a week later to find out, there is still on legal hold with the legal team at the Brokow office. Now 3 weeks later, still not deposited & my check has not been sent back to me. I call Brokow location to find out, they do not have the check & the Rambla Pl/Santa Clara office has not sent the check to them. The agent asked me to have my mom rewrite the check & have her pay her bank the $25 cancel fee, and come into the bank in person to try this process again. At this point, I have lost all faith in this credit union process to validate the check in a timely manner. As of today, 3/15/2023 the check has not been received by mail. The last response is POSSIBLY the check will be reviewed in April and sent to you sometime after. At this point I don't want KeyPoints PR-fake yelp-BS apology....Do what is right, send the check back asap for me to take elsewhere. read more
