Called before hand letting them know I think I needed a new fob and programming after being recommended by a friend. They let me know they'd see if it was replaceable first. I got there and sure enough they said it was replaceable. He took apart my fob to show the buttons were stuck and there was debrief in there. He could've easily got over on me and charged me full price for a new fob and programming and didn't! Only paid $15 total when I was expecting $200, was even told a brand new key and programming was only $186. read more

I had an older file cabinet that I'd lost the key to. I called one mobile place, not set up to assist with it, and they recommended KeyMasters. We had our locks changed when we moved into our new home. Come to find out it is much cheaper to re-key than buy 4-5+ new locks! The guys at Keymasters were very helpful when I called to get information about re-keying since I'd never had it done before. We were able to get it scheduled and done in about 2 days time. This place is just great - honest and helpful. We have a 100 year old house. The front doorknob came loose - and then actually came out (detached from the door hole!). We'd used Keymasters 7 years ago when we needed a key made for the door when we bought the house). My husband called them about our current situation. The gentleman on the phone had my husband bring the doorknob in. He explained to my husband what had happened - and how to fix it. No charge. No service call. That's service! I called Keymasters to rekey my house and Brian came out the next day. He was absolutely excellent. Very professional and relatable and not only was able to rekey all of our locks for less than I had anticipated (and less than I got quoted at a few other places in town) but also did more than what was required and what I was actually paying for. Basically whoever had installed our locks put the in upside down, and he fixed them, even the locks that he wasn't rekeying. Needed some keys made, normal stuff nothing tricky. I could have gone to Wal-mart as I have done in the past but never again. The weather has been really nasty and this place is on my way home. There is a small 5 car parking strip along the side of the building. That's important as they are located on the corner of Leavenworth and traffic can be bad. Off street parking is always a winner. So let's talk about the experience I had once I got inside. An older gentleman came out as he was doing something, saw me and said let's get someone to help you. I was left standing there for about 4 minutes (I know as I watched the clock) before anyone came out. I was sort of on the fence about leaving, they weren't busy but I hung around. The guy behind the counter, I wish I had caught his name, came out, asked me how he could help me. I asked for 7 keys to be made, please and off he went. I settled into one of the chairs with my phone. I was all prepared to stay for the duration but just like that he was back with my keys. It really felt like record time. KeyMasters is the only place that I go to to have keys made. I gave up trying to have a spare house keys in the lake made at hardware stores and other shops. Half of them just didn't quite work right. There is something to be said by having a professional do something that would be on the face of it very easy to do. Machines are automated to duplicate a key somehow can't make a key that works and locks. This is never the case with any key made by Keymasters. I recently purchased a new home and had all the keys changed over and relax redone. They were very professional. They were on time. They worked quickly. Each and every key worked perfectly. So tickled, it's as if I was given the Palomino pony I wanted as a child. My friend, who's done business with Keymasters several times, needed keys made so I asked about salvaging an expensive, fancy, fleur de lis key I'd purchased at a big box hardware store, which never worked. Not once on a closed door, which is when one want's a key to work the most. Tried to get it replaced or redone and was told to go away as I didn't save the receipt I'd gotten earlier the same day. Several times, at several places, was told to it wasn't repairable. Carried it anyway, because I really like it, but a key that doesn't work is a frustrating decoration. Keymasters was my last hope, but in the future will be my first choice. Was told it wasn't properly "done", then a nice (boss)man, with a neatly trimmed beard took the key, gave it a professional grind and handed it back and told me to try it and see. Well, he did what two big box hardware stores a couple of key places couldn't do. IT WORKS PERFECTLY and I am thrilled. I thank him every day when I triumphantly open my front door. The gentleman at Keymasters that made a copy of my key for my 2004 Dodge Sprinter van that required a chipped key did an excellent job, and the price was very reasonable, and much less than I would've had to pay Had I went through Mercedes or Dodge to get something comparable copied all though the original did have the remote door lock/unlock transmitter built into it I just needed to get my van running in and they did it professionally and promptly and did a great job.
