Exceptional customer service. I even came late and they kept the doors open. I won't forget that and I'm very grateful for this branch.

Warning to Current and Future Members…read more I've been a Premier Members/Meritrust customer for over five years with multiple auto loans and perfect payment history -- until now. Their new "security system" shut down my online banking access without warning, disabled my autopay without authorization, and caused a missed payment after three years of flawless ACH payments. They made ONE phone call with no voicemail, no email, no letter, nothing. Because I didn't answer an unknown number, they treated it as "my responsibility" and allowed my loan to become past due. When I called in, I was told my account was locked because their system falsely flagged my login as "bot activity." To unlock it, they demanded I take all my personal devices to a computer repair shop, pay for malware scans, and provide the receipt. I've never heard of a financial institution requiring customers to spend money on their own devices to access their accounts -- especially when their own system disabled autopay without my consent. They refused to waive the late fee, refused to waive the phone-payment fee, and offered no reasonable solution besides "drive 45 minutes to a CO-OP branch." Their customer service reps openly admitted they couldn't explain why autopay was shut off and why there was no proper notification. This credit union is absolutely not operating in a member-friendly manner. If their system ever flags your account incorrectly, you can be permanently locked out of online banking and forced to jump through unreasonable hoops. Stay away from Premier Members/Meritrust. After this, I'll be refinancing elsewhere immediately.

Out of this world customer experience at every visit and interaction…read more First utilized this bank in the process of buying a home after losing mine in a fire. The loan team was courteous, approachable, friendly and welcomed any and all questions I have. Years later I'm still a faithful patron and have gotten to know lots of the nice folks at my local branch who remember me and greet me by name when I arrive. They are also so involved in the community and I hear even offer paid time off to their workers to volunteer. Highly recommending for your personal accounts!

I think I would give zero stars if I could. I was looking for a non-qualified mortage loan, being…read morea self-employed person. I reached out to Elevations (before I read all the reviews here and on another site). I was put in touch with Jake Gallo, who I believe is at this branch. Well, at first, I was so happy to hear, with the info I gave him, that they could put me in a loan with very favorable terms. I was excited enough to let him pull my (excellent) credit and started uploading all my docs. They came back pretty quickly with an OK, you're in, but by then I had read reviews. And this was for a "portfolio loan," meaning Elevations would keep my loan as part of their portfolio. But it also means that they can make up their own rules. And I started asking questions. I asked questions in writing, asked for answers in writing. Some questions were answered and some were glaringly NOT, such as "will Elevations actually be asking for assets as collateral?" His answer was such a dodge. (Not all asset depletion loans work that way.) I asked for details on all the terms, since it was the first time I had considered a portfolio loan. Jake never answered again. I'm leaving out some details of the potential landmines of having accepted a loan through Elevations, but Jake Gallo apparently made sure that I would't ask further and they weren't going to offer...the truth? Steer clear. There may be something good out there with a conventional loan, but I've never known a Credit Union to have such a bad reputation.
