Nick Sutton is who I was referred to and was absolutely blown away at the unprofessional and disrespect that was directed to me over the phone. The call ended and I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. I called the office again two days later trying to reach someone who could help and received a call back from Nick Sutton, this time he was immediately abrasive and when I asked where this is all this coming from he proceed to tell me to hold on for 60 seconds while he screamed for his dog in my ear. I still to this day don't know why I was treated so rash. I have since emailed Conrad and Justin Smith the President of WT with no reply two weeks later. I ended up going to Nick's last place of employment one block to the south, Mountain West Bank and the customer service has been above and beyond. * I have the recorded calls if you want to try to deny any of this Nick and I'm actually being nice not going into all the details. Definitely feel there was some kind of discrimination going on. I hate writing reviews like this, but if I can help one person avoid what I just went through then I'm a happy man.

If it wasn't Wells Fargo's hidden fees and overdraft charges for overdraft charges for overdraft charges, it was US Bank not allowing us to touch more than $1000 of our own money or Key Bank doing whatever it was that finally drove us to ICCU. Anyway, ICCU was great. We never had any problems. Even when we overdrew from our account in the chaos of moving across country, they were cool about removing the penalty. Most banks don't even care about continuing customers.

I just decided to use it on a purchase until rates comes down as there are little to no fees vs a mortgage on a second home. To get the amount of money I needed they charged me $640 for an appraisal of my home.... which is full price for a full appraisal (not just a drive by). While it did appraise more than enough to give me the amount of money I needed the Appraiser put the number at about my what my tax appraisal is which is significant lower than actual value (don't tell the county). The reason for the score is I expected a professional appraisal since I paid for it and I did not get that. ICCU refuses to do anything or take responsibility for the vendor they hired with my money. I refuse to conduct business with an institution that waist my money and time. Based on the other reviews I am reading it sounds like they have a number of opportunities to enhance their level of customer service. It is a shame.

After dealing with Bank of America while I was in college (I thought i'd need access to a local branch), I came to my senses and now do all my banking with DL Evans. By ALL my banking, I mean it: -Checking -Savings, CD -Mortgage Re-finance A few examples of the "Customer-First" style of focused service I've received: -When I bought a car out of state, they stayed after hours to receive info by fax and get everything processed -When my bank account was going to overdraft by a few dollars, I got a call to see if I wanted to transfer $ from savings, AND they helped set up a line of credit to cover any future overdrafts. They waived any overdraft fee When I hear stories of my friends getting ripped off by national banks (who optimize their "services" to maximize fees), I recommend DL Evans without hesitation. They also have all the basics you'd expect in a banking app: transaction details, transfer between accounts, and Mobile Deposit.
