Tom Street called me and we discussed the issue at length. Tom Street assured me they would be in touch the following week to discuss my case. I received no phone call. I sent further e-mails to Tom Street over the course of the following few weeks but did not hear back from them. Eventually Tom Street got back in touch, apologising for not being in touch and stating that they would call me the following Monday. As you can probably guess, I did not receive any phone call. Had I known Tom Street was this unprofessional, I would not have wasted my time e-mailing and on the telephone. I feel like I have wasted three hours from my busy schedule for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Useless. Completely unprofessional.

Others in…read morethe team were happy to update me on 'general progress' but the solicitor that was assigned to me would never speak to me on the phone, did not seem aware of my case, and neglected to answer several emails, even one that I marked urgent. I got through to her on the phone once, and she said that she would answer the urgent enquiry that I had made via email, but nothing followed even then. Very poor service - would have been happy for her to email back quickly saying that she had passed it on to a colleague to answer, but the absolute silence received is maddening. As long as you are happy not to work within a quick timeframe, and are fine to just leave them to sort through the work on their own time, things go quite smoothly. The minute you try to engage with them or raise questions of your own, they are not interested.
