I took a mortice lock in to get a key made. Was told it would be ready Friday. I phoned and it…read morewasn't ready but was told it would be ready the following Monday. I waited a week and phoned the next Friday. It wasn't ready and when I explained this was the second time it wasn't ready I was told "you are very welcome to come in and pick your lock up". I went right over and pick my lock up, went down the street to Sargent Lock and Safe and bought a blank key and filed it to fit in less than 15 minutes. I have been a pretty good customer at C+E over the years , trying to support a local merchant but will never go there again!
