When I first came to Utley Orthodontist for my consultation! He and his wife and a few others were sooo nice ! And I really appreciate it because me being from LA coming to the south it's not much of good customer service out here ! Fast forward to me deciding to go with Dr. Utley I was satisfied with me first few appointments he was always super nice and full of life ! However recently I had to endure a very life changing event that I will not include in this review ! But the events led me to miss a lot of my appointments and I was unable to get in touch with the office to let them know what was going on and that I wouldn't make it ! Anyways I called recently to see if I can set up some type of payment arrangement and start back coming to my appointments now that I'm better , well originally I was told that I can pay 204 a month and I could set me up an appointment to come in and get back to usual treatment. Well I was unable to make it and I tried to call back and let them in the office know what and why I was unable to and to see if there was another arrangement we could set up ! Whoever I spoke with was VERY rude NO SYMPATHY OR ANYTHING WHAT SO EVER ! She told me I would be unable to get serviced until I pay 900 dollars flat out no I'm sorry u went through that I'm glad your okay nothing ! As a person who worked as a receptionist at multiple places THAT IS NOT THE WAY ! rude over the phone , so my tooth has been bothering me and don't get me wrong if that's how the rules are and I can't get serviced until I pay my balance that I'm pass due TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE! So I simply called to see if someone there can just LOOK at my tooth to see why it's in pain maybe a bracket was messed up or something so I sent a picture and I received a call back and was told to come up there so they can fix my wire ! So I said no problem I asked if they can just take off the rubber bands since they are popped instead of changing them just take them off since I can't be serviced until I pay my balance ! Well the lady told me no they cannot ! Because it's no doctor there ! However the doctor never put my rubber bands on or off they do that ! The dental assistants and if you're fixing my wire why can't u take off my rubber bands ! So I get to the dentist and the dental assistant by the name of MADISON , VERY RUDE AND NASTY , as I said my tooth was hurting bad to the touch so she was trying to pull the wire and I made a little noise because yes my tooth is sensitive which is normal for a person to be uncomfortable, so she backs away and says okay if I can't get the wire you're going to have to wait two weeks for Dr Utley . Just very rude like and I simply told her maam it's going to hurt I can't help the fact that it hurts but I never said you can't continue doing what you're doing ! I never told her wait or gave her any sign I didn't want her to fix the wire . And then on top of that she still put a rubber band on but left the popped ones on , if you couldn't do that because the doctor was gone why did u still do it ??
