Once arriving, the check-in process is smooth. New patients must present ID and insurance. Once you're in the system, only an updated insurance card is needed (if applicable). The nurses are very attentive and friendly and Dr. Ensminger is the best. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he truly cares about his patients as well. Larry has a great "bedside manner," very professional and knowledgeable, but he always surprises me with his common sense. Example: I had an orthopedist tell me I'd need knee surgery soon. I told Larry, and he told me that's what they get paid for - doing knee surgeries. Larry instead gave me a three injection treatment that I've done twice now, and it helps tremendously. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with this practice. They are Christian-based (I think) but all that's meant to me is they care about their patients. I can't recommend College Park Family Care highly enough, and I'm old enough to have had experience with *lots* of doctors. :)

I…read morefor an annual wellness check for my turning 5yo daughter, the front desk staff was just ok, I was kept on hold for quite a while making the appointment. The actually appointment was great. Dr Eliason was really good with my daughter and was able to spend at least 20 minutes with us just doing all the routine things. When it came time for immunizations they handled my freaking-out daughter really well (it took 4 aides and a nurse to hold her down and give her two shots, ugh!). For visit number two my 3yo had an ear infection and I wasn't sure what was up with my 7yo (sinus infection?). They were able to make an appointment for that same afternoon with Terri (Dr Eliason's PA). I was kept on hold for a while to make the appt and waited in the waiting room for around 10 minutes but Terri was very sweet and very good with all my kids. It was a sinus infection for the 3yo but turns out the 7yo is super allergic to Kansas so allergy meds were prescribed. Overall, 3 stars for the reception staff and 5 stars for the Doctor and nursing staff.

If your kids, you, or someone else in your family needs a doctor, this is the place to go to. Because ALL OF THE DOCTORS, NURSES, AND STAFF ARE ALL TOP NOTCH! They are all very professional, yet very down to earth. You ALWAYS get treated nicely, with respect, and they listen to you becuse they are there to help you. They are not a small office with a few people, this place has grown and the doctors, like Dr. Curry, are great. That's why if anyone asks me if I know of some physician who really knows their stuff. Now she went in and asked for a physical, which my insurance pays for 100% no co pay, they charged her 40.00 copay at time of visit. my daughter not knowing this paid. I called the clinic and spoke to the receptionist, who verified that she scheduled a physical, then I spoke to the office manager Misty, who stated it was a work physical, and they consider each physical a different type, such as work/school/personal. I verified with insurance there was no such thing as different physicals. Then I tried to call the billing office for 2 weeks, multiple times a day, and Brittany never answers or returns calls, I then called main hospital who sent me to the billing supervisor, who was extremely rude, she said they sent it as a regular office appt not a physical. and she had no intentions on changing it. therefore my daughter should get a refund for incorrect coding, because they decided she came in form something other then what she stated. This is now being disputed. WATCH YOUR BILL IF YOU GO HERE, THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LYING AND CHEATING.

Conveniently located with access to multiple pharmacies extremely close by. Excellent physicians and mid-level providers who are very knowledgeable. Full lab and x-ray available seven days a week. There can sometimes be quite a wait so I recommend if you get there right when they open to be prepared to wait.
