bought my first car from here about 2 months ago, I'm an 18 year old that had to take a loan out…read morejust to get it. when i looked at the car the check engine light was on and i was told it was a broken oxygen sensor and it was an easy fix. i then took it for a test drive and it shook so bad that i could barely keep ahold of the steering wheel and when i brought it up he said "oh i guess i never noticed it" they rotated the tires and gave it an alignment but it was still shaking so i brought it back the next day and told them. they then rotated the tires again but still, it was shaking very bad and would randomly die. had the car scanned again and popped up 6 codes. turns out both of the oxygen sensors were broken, needed a new idle air control valve and tps sensor (at this point i had the car for a week/ week and a half) i took it back to them and they had my car for 2 days and cleared the check engine light then told my my back tire rim was bent. My car would also vibrate pretty bad and i was told it was normal since my car is a 2005 (it felt like a literal back massage) i then took it to a different mechanic and both of my motor mounts were broken and my engine was just sitting on the frame of the car. Not to mention when i went to clean out my car there was a dirty diaper underneath the driver seat from the previous owner! Would never recommend this place to anyone!!

No, I'm not talking about your poor choice in chowing down at the roadside Taco Johns. I'm referring to the fire in the belly of your metal beast not being tamed by its tailpipe. Sure you could pull into the nearest exit and inquire about a muffler mechie, or you could drive an hour south to the quaint, quirky little town of Fairfield and pay a visit to Rich at Palmer. Good thing about being in the muffler biz is that you can hear you customers coming from a mile away. He's always ready for ya, cig dangling from his mouth, hand on the hydraulic bay for the ready. Be it new or clunker, nothing deters. The pipe on our '82 VDub van was rusted more than a grandma's... and fixed on with a coat hanger. Rich took a good look at it, prescribed a welding in several places, booked us for an appointment the following morning, and voilà! to the great pleasure of passing cars, my baby's purring like a kitten.
