bought my first car from here about 2 months ago, I'm an 18 year old that had to take a loan out just to get it. when i looked at the car the check engine light was on and i was told it was a broken oxygen sensor and it was an easy fix. i then took it for a test drive and it shook so bad that i could barely keep ahold of the steering wheel and when i brought it up he said "oh i guess i never noticed it" they rotated the tires and gave it an alignment but it was still shaking so i brought it back the next day and told them. they then rotated the tires again but still, it was shaking very bad and would randomly die. had the car scanned again and popped up 6 codes. turns out both of the oxygen sensors were broken, needed a new idle air control valve and tps sensor (at this point i had the car for a week/ week and a half) i took it back to them and they had my car for 2 days and cleared the check engine light then told my my back tire rim was bent. My car would also vibrate pretty bad and i was told it was normal since my car is a 2005 (it felt like a literal back massage) i then took it to a different mechanic and both of my motor mounts were broken and my engine was just sitting on the frame of the car. Not to mention when i went to clean out my car there was a dirty diaper underneath the driver seat from the previous owner! Would never recommend this place to anyone!! read more

We love Four Seasons. They are totally fair and honest. One time I took our car in for a repair and they gave me a quote for $400....which seemed totally reasonable for the work that had to be done. But when I came back to pick up the car, the bill was for only $250! Richard, their mechanic, is great. He will diagnose the issues for you for free and give you a reasonable quote. One time I had a brake job, requiring the brake lines to be replaced. He quoted $700. I took it to another mechanic who quoted it at $800. So I asked Richard why replacing the brake lines would cost so much. He said that to pull the old lines out you would have to also pull out the gas lines. So I said, what if you just clip the brake lines, leave the old lines in place and put the new ones in. He said yes, he could do that. Final price...$300. I always enjoy working with Richard. He is good, conscientious, accurate and sincere. It is also fun working with the body people. If there is a very expensive job for our older cars they will suggest ways to cut corners, make a completely acceptable, if not perfect repair that saves some money for their customers. I would not recommend anyone to ever go here. I've never written a bad review for anyone, but this place inspired my first one, unfortunately. I was told I could get in the same day I brought my car in, but I wasn't seen until a WEEK LATER. I called every day asking when it would get looked at, "Oh, I think tomorrow," they would tell me. When I asked them what was wrong with it, they told me the thing I already told them was wrong, even though I knew there was more to it. The reality was they didn't even thoroughly look at my car, but they were just making it sound like they had. I was also misquoted - they DOUBLED the price on me, and they did not get my consent to do the work for the higher cost. They just went ahead and did it and charged me. It took them a whole week, and they weren't even able to do all the work I needed. So, not only did they not get my final consent to do the work they were capable of, I also still had to take my car to another shop to actually solve the problem. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else. read more

"Trustworthy mechanic" is possible! This is it. They will do the job and not overcharge. Sometimes hard to get through on the phone, in that case, just go there to get an appointment if you have to. They will get you in and out and you can be confident you were done right. Someone I know called them "Fairfield's best kept secret." I think word is getting out, as it should! read more

I took my Camry in for two warning lights that came on. They diagnosed the downstream O2 sensor. They replaced it and charged me $300.00 for a $150.00 job. Fifty miles down the road the same warning lights came on. I took it to O Reilly Auto parts and another mechanic. Both said it's the O2 sensor. i went back to OReilly and asked the owner to check to make sure if they installed the correct sensor. He blew me off. I took it to another shop and they charged me to diagnose the O2 sensor. I went back 3 times to see if they would make it right. They kept saying "It could be anything" even though I had documentation it was the part they replaced. Turns out they put in an after market sensor that doesn't work for cars with CA smog. Had to be a certain sensor. They blew me off 3 times. Now i have filed a small claims court suit against them to get my money back. Don't go there unless you want a mess, rudeness, a hassle, etc. No ethics, no morals just greed. Be wary! They do bodywork ok, not reliable for mechanical issues. read more
