I cannot recommend Long White Beard more! I found Dan & Shelby on Etsy many moons ago, and ordered…read morea simple TV stand from them. I was so in love with it, that I asked them to build a closet system for me that I drew out. They took my design and made it come to life with beautiful precision. From there, they custom made a vanity for my guest bathroom, a live edge dining room table, live edge shelves for my master bathroom, and a long floating shelf for our bar area. They are not local for me (I'm in CT, they're in MI) but that doesn't stop me from going back time and time again. Each time, they have been quick to respond, helpful with suggestions and kept me abreast of the progress with my pieces. I have loved working with LWB and every time I have an opportunity to bring them back into my home and recommend them to friends, I do. We are very pleased with the overall experience we had working with the team at Marble and Granite…read moreExpress (MGE)! As soon as we walked into their doors, we had a welcoming experience. Exceptional customer service from the start! Justin was very informative, educated us about the process and gave us an approximate quote based off our measurements right away. I came here because of the reviews and I am glad I did! I've had less than acceptable experiences working with various contractors and I wanted to work with someone who was timely, cost effective, great customer service and good quality. I expressed that to Justin and he was so understanding and assured me they are all those things. He was right! The next day Jorge came to my house to take measurements. He was very polite and knowledgeable about granite and overall experience. They say it takes two weeks from the date they receive the slab order you pick out. That is indeed true. I had a very specific granite vision of what I wanted. I went to a few suppliers and found the one I wanted. However, when it came in, the slab was cracked and MGE did not want me to be disappointed as they genuinely cared about the finished product and quality. We sent it back. Then, Kleopatra called me and offered to come with me to the suppliers to help me look at the granite and inspect it herself. I was so relieved and was blown away with how she went above and beyond to keep me informed of everything and to ensure I chose the granite we would be satisfied with long term. We ended up picking Avalon White from MSI. She inspected it and showed me which part of the slab they would use. I was reassured and so excited! Their prices are competitive and cost effective for their customers. The install team was outstanding. Our home is a historical home built in 1884, so the ground isn't as leveled. They stayed for 6 hours reconfiguring until it was perfect. They wanted to ensure it looked pristine and they do!! We love them and would highly recommend MGE to anyone. Matter of fact, I sent two people there already and they are pleased as well. Great work MGE team!
