I was given an outstanding team to help me with various needs and the staff there and my workers made me feel so comfortable and understood and they became my angels. I've never felt as comfortable at any other organization as I became there at outreach center. It felt like home and the staff are all so personable and accommodating. I started receiving help in 2015 and I've been done with needing their assistance for quite a few years now but I do get to go by there every now and then like for adopt a family and the staff that are still there still remember me and treat me like family. I truly am so grateful for everything they have ever done for me

Once a month for $25, you will receive fresh fruits & veggies, a starch, and frozen meat. Pick up is located at the downtown Salvation Army. This month I received apples, oranges, romaine lettuce, several bell peppers, a bag of elbow macaroni, plus 3lbs of hamburger, 2 pork steaks, & 2 chicken legs & 2 chicken thighs. All for only $25/month! Each month, I'm astounded at the amount of food. This service has inspired me to find new and creative things too cook. My crockpot is really getting a work out. :) The women involved in dispersing the food are always very friendly.
