All of my concerns were addressed and the hygienist and dentist performed what I felt were thorough exams on his mouth. They were definitely geared towards dealing with small children in a great manner. Awesome staff overall. The office is located towards the back of the large colonial building that houses a Montessori school. They have a large waiting room with a small kids play area in the back and a cool fish tank. My son was over the moon he found a Thomas train in the mix of toys. The exam took place in a small private area that was sectioned off, but was not really an office. There was a small TV there for kids DVD movies. When all was done we were led out and given a tour of their larger exam area which has an open layout with about 4 or 5 chairs that had kids being worked on (makes them feel more at ease they said). Although there were also some private rooms for x-rays and exams. All was said and done within an hour's time of arriving. A self-pay / no insurance exam was $78. Not bad at all. They gave me a good expectation of the best and worst case scenarios with what the total amount might be and it was not the worst case. They offer Care Credit so you can hock yourself into oblivion on the big bills. Next year my son gets an official cleaning with his exam. I am definitely looking forward to returning. While I was with my older one, they put sealant on my younger child. They never told me. I found out when we got home and my child told me. When I called to discuss it, they told me that I had signed for it. Which I absolutely did not. I asked them to send me a copy and they told me not to come back. Yeah, like that was ever going to happen. They are unethical and flat out liars. I suggest you stay far away from this business and definitely do NOT take your kids there.

The office staff are professional, friendly and basically don't take crap with missed appointments or anything (they'll chuckle if they read this, they had to get hardcore on appointments with me about 5 years ago when I had a handful of last-minute cancels due to some repeated illnesses). Their cleanings are gentle, they've done same-day fillings and an extraction if needed for me and otherwise are just great. Anyway, went in today for my first cleaning since COVID-19 breakout. I have to say I was VERY impressed with their process and precautions. You wait in your car when you arrive for your appointment, call them to let them know you're there. They call you to come in, mask required, they do a temperature check and ask you to use their fancy hand sanitizer before you proceed to the exam room. They have a plexiglass divider hanging at the checkout station, and all employees wore masks and the hygienist & doc wore face shields as well. They did a great job keeping you away from other patients and it was very efficient considering. Highly recommend if you're nervous about a COVID-19 cleaning or other dental work.

But he died, and when I went for my next appointment, I had his partner Scott Hodas. Hodas talked me into having my dentures relined, even though they fit well. He said they had to be relined every so many years and I was overdue. So I agreed to let him reline my dentures. BIG MISTAKE. Since the reline, I have to use denture adhesive twice a day, and my upper plate is not snug. I often find it difficult to talk. When I went for my six month cleaning, I wanted to talk to Dr. Hodas about this. He looked at the denture adhesive I brought along and said that's what the adhesive is for.

Clinton Township Family Dental is the best dentist office I have been too, the staff Dr. Rabban are knowledgeable, compassionate, and made my expirenced exceptional. First of all the office looks exactly the same as it has since Dr Mindy owned it, no new renovations have been done. It's a very very clean office so things look new because they are taken care of. Second the walls are all full walls and there are surgical grade air purifiers visible that keep the air in the office super clean. Also the hygienists have vacuum systems for when they are polishing so that it vacuums up the aerosols that may get into the air to help keep the air clean. When I learned this I felt very safe. Dr. Rabban goes above and beyond any other dentist I've been too to keep her patients safe. Third the front desk staff was very transparent with the cost of all procedures and the estimated insurance coverage. They made sure I was aware every step of the way, and I've witenessed them do the same thing to other patients as well. I understand that my insurance company is a outside party that is not connected to the Dental office and they may not pay what they originally told me or the office (as insurance trys not to pay per usual) Dr Rabbans compassion and care exceed that of any dentist I have seen in the past, her warm personality and Dental expertise make me feel at ease when I'm in the Dental chair.
