My husband really wanted some candy flavored popcorn, so I ordered it for him for Valentine's Day. To get free shipping, you need to get a lot of popcorn. I decided to do that so he could try several flavors. I also got some cheese and cheddar popcorn that I would eat so I could help him eat some of it. However, it was still A LOT of popcorn! I got him Blueberry, Grape, Blue Raspberry and Confetti popcorn. He liked the Confetti best, and he liked how they were all different flavors. I personally don't even like the sound of candy flavored popcorn. I tried a few pieces of his, and it didn't change my mind. The cheese popcorns were good, but no better that something I could buy at the grocery store for $3. Somewhere on the website I think it said the popcorn stays free for 2-3 weeks. We had popcorn left long after that, and my husband still ate it and said it still tasted fine. I ordered it as a gift for him, so I just figured if he didn't get to eat all of it, we'd just throw it away. It was nice that it lasted longer than expected. And when it came it was packed very well, and the whole box smelled like popcorn! Actually, our whole pantry smelled like popcorn for a month, lol! This was nice to do as a one time thing. I don't think I'd do it again, or if I did, I'd just get the Confetti kind and pay the shipping. It would be nice if the shipping was a little lower. I could get a whole bag of popcorn for the shipping cost, which was why I decided to order it the way I did. He liked it, and that's what mattered. read more

Really cool place with really cool people. A family based company, that definitively earns my business. The popcorn is good, tasty, with very good flavors, and they sell it in different sizes. There is a large variety, over 30 flavors, maybe, I don't know how to count. There is also premium corn kernels to make your own popcorn at home. read more

Cute little shop with limited hours. The staff was friendly but they were "out" of many of the flavors. I aldosterone expected the store would smell like a movie theater lobby but it did not. The popcorn tasted OK but it was scooped out of a plastic bin and I don't know how fresh it was. The price was ok but certainly not a bargain. read more

Cute popcorn shop on Primrose with a ton of flavors to choose from - from Cajun to amaretto to dill, they have a popcorn flavor for any craving. I got a variety of flavors for a gift and then a small 2-cup bag of the Hawaii hurricane - woah, talk about a unique flavor. If you like seaweed, try it - it has actual shreds of seaweed in it! Also, if you ask, they're willing to let you sample before you buy if you're not sure about a flavor. Overall, this is a great place to stop for a unique gift idea. I only gave 4 stars because the lady I dealt with wasn't very friendly, she seemed like she wanted us to just pick something and get out of her way. If you come knowing what you want, you can get in and out pretty quick - they bag the popcorn up right in front of you. read more

Popocorn? Flavored popcorn? I'm in! Literally, I just went in after I saw this place. I wasn't looking for popcorn, yet this placed "siren song'd" me into its popcorn rocks. Oh, and what a way to go! As soon as you enter, there is a board to the left with the day's flavors. However, its also fun to look at the big buckets of popcorn behind the counter as you an see some color coming through. (I'm a visual person, so this is important when collecting calories!) Since I wasn't really looking for popcorn this day, (plus I had just had a cookie AND donut before stopping in) I got two small bags to check it out. I tried the Hawaiian Hurricane, which had ingredients in it that I've never heard of. Exotic! I also tried the Vermont Granny, with white cheddar & green apple.) Out of the two, the granny mix was my fav. The Hawaiian Hurricane tasted a little stale or either the ingredients I had never heard of were not my "thang" ... it tasted good though. I should also note that you can ask for samples prior to buying. I was too overwhelmed with the choices to think about this prior. I also like to live on the edge with my popcorn experiences. So, do what feels right for you! Saying all that, whatever flavor suits your fancy, a small bag is not enough. I personally need more popcorn in my life. There are so many flavors to try and I'm sure they switch them up regularly, so you never know what you will find. What can I say? I'm a fan .. I'll be back .. I've been a"maized" by the confections of Kernel Encore. Salute! read more

Kernel Encore has the best popcorn, hands down. Not only is the popcorn fabulous but the employees are super friendly and give you all the FREE samples you could want! You'll need them because there are dozens of flavors to choose from. First, my favorites: Cheddar and White Cheddar are made with real cheese and are both equally delicious. For a sweet flavor and overall best: Smores. Yes, Smores is drizzled with chocolate, dusted with graham cracker bits and even has tiny little marshmallows. I could eat an entire bag! Sounded promising but disappointing: White chocolate macadamia nut- the flavors don't mesh well together. Garlic Parmesan- too bland. Marshmallow- the marshmallow flavor is lost on the popcorn. My son loves the fruit flavored popcorn: apple, grape, cherry, strawberry, blueberry, banana- you name it. Then there are mixes like Carmel apple, blueberry cheesecake and confetti. Kernel Encore has been around for a decade. Stop by, check them out and feel like a kid again. read more

Kernel Encore Gourmet Popcorn - Today's flavors - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This is one of my favorite 'how does this place exist?' Places in Orlando (oh yes, the are a few of these... A list is in the works...). I'd driven by it a million times and always wondered about it. Was it a drug front? Did they run a secret gambling business in the back room? Finally, my curiosity got the best of me and I stepped inside to find something even cooler- a fully-functioning, pretty darn impressive popcorn store. It was true! They really only sold popcorn! But don't mistake that 'only' as being dismissive. No, this was the best popcorn I've ever had. Hundreds of flavors to chose from, each more bizarrely enticing than the last! This kind of establishment makes me so excited for Orlando. W're growing into a really great, hip city, but we don't lose the charm of places like this. I hope it stays around for a long time! read more

This place is everything! I stopped in on Thursday to look at their selection of popcorn. I was hosting a bridal shower & wanted to do jars filled with the party color popcorn that said "thanks for popping by". I was unsure of how much I needed, but the mother-daughter duo were super friendly & nice and helped me. They were a little low on the colors I needed but re-assured me I could call them and they would get what I needed. They gave me a 2 cup bag so I could take it home and do the hw. However, I wasn't able to call due to a family emergency, and my friend went in on Friday to get what I needed and they helped him 100% get what we wanted and needed. Everyone loved the jars, they were perfect! And as a nice bonus, the popcorn is DELISH! They have sooooooo many flavors! Deff will be popping by kernel encore again very soon! read more

We ordered from Kernel Popcorn for a popcorn bar at my sons wedding. It was such a huge hit. The order arrived right on schedule, was fresh and delicious. Everybody enjoyed it. My only comment is about the Sparkle Carmel Corn. The sparkles were all over our hands, mouth and clothes. Next time I would order regular Carmel Corn. read more

Soooooo many flavors!! :) They have your common ketel corn, cheddar cheese and butter flavors however for a real treat, try their PB&J popcorn!! You can get it with either grape or strawberry flavor. I love sour patch kids so I went for the pucker popcorn. They have confetti which is sweet and consists of a rainbow assortment and reminds me of fruit loops. There were some really unique flavors like hot wings, jalapeño cheddar, hot cheddar, cajun, baked potato, bacon cheddar, birthday cake, wedding cake, pumpkin...... there are so many more flavors. You need to check it out for yourself. They've been in business for 17 years! read more

I ordered popcorn because I loved the flavors a coworker brought in to our job. I placed my order on 10/13 and didn't get a shipped notification until 10/22. The email confirmation for my order said delivery on 10/19 but it wasn't delivered until 10/25!!! Sorry that's way too long to wait for a few bags of popcorn. Especially when they charged $9.00 for shipping! It's a shame because a big bunch of us would order a lot for meetings and events because the popcorn is good, but because it's takes them almost two weeks to deliver, we'll just go somewhere local. EDITING REVIEW: I'm editing because the company sent me an email that they've refunded my shipping charges on my order. (Without me asking. I never notified them of any issues. They sent me an email that they were doing this because of the delivery delay) This is the kind of customer service that wins back my business! Wanted to also add that anyone who hasn't tried the confetti and banana split popcorn is missing out big time! read more

I was given a bag of Kernel Encore's kettle corn after a work luncheon (they were part of the goody bags). I myself do not like kettle corn but alas, one stressful day at work I needed to stress eat and the popcorn was all that I had. This kettle corn was amazing and unlike any I've had previously. The popcorn was buttery with just the right amount of salt and sugar. Now I have to go to the actual location! read more

I LOVE POPCORN!! Especially Garrett's cheddar/caramel mix, so when I learned that this local vendor offers their version of this mix, the 2-Way, I made a trip this spot for that sole reason. I was impressed by the multitude of flavor options and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-Way. It was delicious! Opportunities: the store was not clean. Things like a visibly dirty floor where the popcorn is kept, to the staff not cleaning their hands between cashier transactions and food handling are an easy fix that would go a long way for the perception and experience of the customer. Plus I am pretty sure this is a food handling regulation. Moreover, I would recommend wearing gloves when preparing the popcorn bags as the popcorn comes in contact with the skin/hands of the staff. The staff was friendly. I may be back, and I say maybe because I am a stickler for cleanliness in food handling. read more

I'm a big popcorn eater like I could finish a whole big bag in 2 days and still end up wanting more. When I found out there is a popcorn place near me, I was so excited. Sooo many flavors, anything you can think of! I got, guava, garlic parmesan, confetti and wasabi soy. All were delicious except for wasabi soy, I found the wasabi flavor to be too intense that I couldn't handle it. But then again, wasabi is a strong flavor overall. I love how you can freely pick a size and flavor from 2 cups to 20 gallons. I will definitely come back! Don't forget to check in on yelp where you can get a free bag when you buy 2-2 cup bags! read more

Although I only sampled one of their 180 flavors, I'm going with 5 stars based on what they do, and how they do it. My boyfriend and I "popped" in one day after riding by many times. We were kindly greeted by the owner and learned a great deal about how they got started. She was extremely friendly overall and I decided that she is the type of person to be that friendly regardless of making a sale. She allowed my boyfriend to try as many samples as he wanted and happily answered all of our questions. I tried one of their house favorites, caramel corn sprinkled with white cheddar. It sounds very odd, but it was very good and almost creamy. They literally have every flavor under the sun including margarita, coconut, oreo, chicken wing, and beer. They carry the standards of course and on weekends offer a tent in their parking lot for anyone looking just to buy kettle corn. The prices are okay; just what you'd expect for gourmet popcorn. But the novelty of what they sell, and the customer service will definitely have us coming back for more. read more

My now husband and I really wanted a popcorn bar at our wedding this past weekend. We found Kernel Encore online and decided to take a chance with them (we live in Los Angeles, CA). I worked with Victoria who is an absolutely DOLL! She helped me figure out how much popcorn I needed for my reception, gave me good advice on flavours and helped me stay within budget. She was so easy to work with and I felt 100% comfortable placing a bulk online order with them because of her. Sadly, I did not get to eat any of the popcorn at the wedding but all our guests raved about it! The best part is that they have GLITTER POPCORN! GLITTER! If I ever need popcorn in bulk for another event, I'm definitely reaching out to Kernel Encore again. read more

I've tried about 20 of their 180 flavors and they've all been awesome! They have small sample bags as cheap as $1 to a box of popcorn for about $30. Everything is fresh, air popped (except the kettle corn) and delicious! I've bought sereval bags and served them to out of town company to kind of show off that my towns better than their town lol. Always a hit, havent found a flavor I dont like! If you have a Buy Orlando Card you also get an extra discount with that. Definately worth a visit read more

I arrived home last nite to find 3 bags of popcorn on my computer desk from KERNEL ENCORE! Just to tell you a secret....in grad school, I used to eat popcorn for dinner....please don't tell my mom! :D Anyways, on my table sat three flavors: HOUSE, BUTTER &SALT, & POWER CHEESE.....guess which one I finished in one sitting?!??!! The HOUSE bag of course! The HOUSE flavor was full of sweet caramel and buttery goodness! I couldn't stop licking my hands (please don't tell my mom that either! LoL). The popcorn just reminded me of freshly popped Kettle popcorn from the Farmer's Market in New Orleans (where I attended grad school!). Despite finding my obvious favorite popcorn bag, each bag was full of FRESHNESS and DELICIOUS flavor! I think I found my new dinner meal again.... this time in assorted flavors! ;D read more

one word - yum! My boyfriend and I decided it would be fun to go check out this weekend. The owner was really friendly and let us sample several flavors. We loved the beer popcorn and the amaretto was good too. The caramel apple is also yummy. I also tried the lime chili caramel which was interesting. We will def be going back again as their are so many flavors that intrigued me. read more

Cool place to grab some popcorn they claim to have over 180 flavors but I didn't see half of that on the board. However, what was on the board was pretty wild and interesting. They give you free samples so don't be afraid to ask to taste whatever it was that caught your eye. I really enjoyed the spicy caramel and hot wing flavor. read more

I've always been afraid to head into this place, and now I'm hooked. A great place to be if you are a popcorn addict. Lol! My goal is to try all 200 + flavors.. so far I've had Dill Pickle - very strong dill flavor. Grape-tasted like grape, tangerine-tasted like tangerine, root beer and caramel were kind of similar in flavor, all were awesome. They make popcorn balls, sell small snack bags, create gift baskets and sell large quantities if you wish. You can try any flavors they have available, just ask. read more

Is "popcorn connoisseur" a thing? Because I've had a lot of popcorn in my day and feel I'm definitely qualified to write this review... The popcorn here is amazing. They don't cut any corners with regard to proper kernel fluff, and the flavors are top notch. It's not just your usual flavors either... they do a very good job with some weird-sounding options, like hot wing flavored popcorn. It all tastes great. Definitely try one of their sparkling choices: edible glitter makes it shimmer and shine! Also, the milk chocolate covered variety is unbelievably good!!! This all said, what really makes this shop shine is the customer service. As a family owned and operated shop, you can definitely feel the love that goes into what they do, and they go beyond the call of duty to make customers feel valued. My family is completely in love with Kernel Encore and we'll keep coming back. read more

DINER FROM ORLANDO * Schneidercats * 1 Review Popcorn is good. Customer service was not good for our order to our son's BarMitzvah. We ordered 5 speciality popcorn flavors. The popcorn was sent in 2 boxes due to the amount. Both boxes were sent the same day. One box showed up on time the other box did not. Thus we did not have enough popcorn for the popcorn bar we had included with the luncheon after the barmitzvah. When the second box arrived 3 days late, of course we had no use for it. We called customer service. No apol ogy or at least fake sincerity. All we were told was we would be responsible for return postage fees. If customer service even fak ed an apology or even credited us a few dollars we would have had no problem recommending this company to other temple members for their child's barmitzvah. Oh well. read more

Decided to check this place out based on the other Yelp reviews, and since we liked it so much we've been twice! We tried and purchased the Buffalo Ranch, peanut butter, salt and vinegar, and oreo cheesecake flavors all of which are awesome! Flavors we didn't like too much were the caramel and taco flavors. Taco had way tooooooooo much cumin, and the batch we sampled also tasted a bit stale. As for the caramel, it was kinda "blah," and not very rich or complex tasting. Nice thing about this shop is that they will let you sample any of the flavors, and will package your popcorn into any type or size container that you need. Also, Encore is just down the street from the theatre at Fashion Square Mall.....which is uber convenient if you don't nasty stale popcorn from the theatre :) read more

I only give it to stars because i truly have enjoyed the popcorn here but i was very disappointed when i came in and got horrible service. I tried to go to a local place to support and they were rude and short and didn't seem to want my business. I have gone here before and it was great and this time they had no options which was ok because they were busy but didn't seem to care about the questions or what we wanted. read more

I love popcorn. I could sit all day and eat bag after bag of popcorn. This is why I am so glad I found this place. They have over 200 flavors, but they only have so many of those 200 made at one time. The girl working told me that they have been very busy, so the selection of popcorn right now is limited. Most people have written about how they would let you sample anything before you buy it. When I went in they had two flavors out for samples, but the worker didn't mention anything to me about trying anything else. I would have liked to try some flavors before I purchased anything. I ended up getting kettle corn..AMAZING and chili cheese..not so great. I am a huge kettle corn fan, and I will come back for this again and again. However, the chili cheese tasted nothing like chili or cheese. It actually tasted smokey. I can't wait to come back to try even more flavors. read more

I LOVE this popcorn store! It's a tiny mom & pop shop so they remember you when you come in--a great thing to do! The store has tons of different flavors--original, sweet, savory, combos. My favorites are ranch, sour cream and onion, and cheesy bbq. Oh yum! And if you're not sure if you'd like a flavor, feel free to ask for a sample. I have one complaint about this store--that its on the other side of town!! But it's so good that when I run out of popcorn, I hop right in my car and make my way over! If you're a popcorn fanatic like I am, don't miss out! read more

So delicious! I am a popcorn fiend, it's one of my top favorite snacks (and sometimes meal). When I came across Kernel Encore I always thought, man, I need to stop in there. Finally I partnered up with them for an event and they brought their trailer out and everyone was sampling their huge variety of flavors. Yes, over 200! I headed into the store this week, finally and it smells amazing. I had no idea on what flavors I wanted to get so I chatted with the ladies on the varieties, what they had in stock to walk out with and sampled a few flavors. They packaged everything up and labeled it so it was clear and I was a happy popcorn person! You can buy bags, gallons, tins, gift baskets, really anything you can think of. And yes, you can head into a shop and sample each flavor! I highly suggest checking this place out for yourself, cool idea for gifts and awesome favors to bring to parties! read more

How cute is this place?! It's tiny and smells delicious. What a great small business. I picked up popcorn for a bride-to-be's reception at Rosen Shingle and it was a hit. The champagne flavor had sparkles on it and they had tons of flavors you could buy in small sizes. I definitely picked up a couple for myself. The bubble gum and mai tai were both delicious. read more

This is a really cute little shop right by downtown. When you walk in, they have a blackboard with all the flavors they have and a pricing guide beside it that is all coordinated. It may seem a little confusing at first but it very quickly makes sense. The staff there is very friendly and eager to help with any popcorn questions you may have. They also offer samples to help you decide what flavors you want to purchase. I highly recommend trying the flavors before you buy them because there were two that we thought would be excellent but were not our favorites. With that said we did buy five different bags of popcorn and each one is incredible. Far better than anything you would find in a regular store. They also offer tins and various other popcorn options. Great for many occasions. Definitely worth checking out even if you aren't typically a fan of popcorn. They have something for everyone! read more

As a last minute decision for a wedding party favor, Kernel Encore did so great at getting our popcorn to us the day before our wedding! When I had selected "rush order" late Sunday night, I recieved a courtesy call the very next day for a clarification of when we needed our popcorn. great customer service! I ordered two 15 gallon boxes of the original kettle corn flavor for such a great price! I searched all over the net for tasty but reasonably priced popcorn and luckily came across their site! I will warn you guys (because I was concerned immediatelywhen I opened the first box) it tasted like it was burnt- I don't know if that's normal or if that has happened to anyone else (only a small percentage of popcorn did look over toasted) BUT that "burnt flavor" dissipated after a couple hours!! Once the flavor settled in, the popcorn was crazy good and highly addictive!!! It was continuously complimented on by all of our family and friends; so many people asked me where I got it! Obviously I highly recommend this! I'm curious about their other favors and can't wait to try them! read more

Great flavors, and while expensive, worth it. Ask to sample the flavors you want most.

This place is an amazingly delicious hidden gem. A friend gave me some popcorn (blue raspberry) from here and I was intrigued. She told me stories about how they have flavors ranging from traditional Chicago style (caramel and chedder) to hot wing and bacon flavor. During my next lunch break I was there. Trying everything. What a creative and fun snack. I even ordered the cheesecake flavor, half kept the white color and half dyed blue for wedding favors at my wedding. Try everything, you won't be disappointed. And this place owned and run by a local family. read more

I placed my order on 12/12 and was told it would be to me no later than 12/22 which seemed reasonable due to the holidays. It came much later. The tracking number they gave me was useless.
