I was extremely disappointed with William. I thought he was very nice and attentive. At our first consultation I made it abundantly clear that all I could afford was a $5000 retainer. I gave him the details of my case and let him know the attorney fees would need to be sought. He said he understood and said he had other Clients similar to me and this made me feel reassured that I had finally found somebody to keep with me until my daughter turns 18. One month later, he asked for over another retainer claiming that he didn't realize how complicated my case was. Even though I had sat there and told him that I had a very complicated case. Even though I had told him I had created a GoFundMe to raise the $5000 retainer. Long story short, all he did was send a few emails and eat up the $5000 and I was left to represent myself in family court. One of the worst experiences ever. I'm assuming he is out of touch with the fact that there are people who are poor in Los Angeles. There are single mothers who live in 1 bedroom apt. who fight against wealthy dudes. I hired Daniel to protect my legal rights and act in the best interests of our children. Instead, I experienced the opposite. He pressured me to sign a stipulation in a way that felt like borderline blackmail, threatening to withdraw representation and adjust billing for services not rendered unless I complied. He disregarded critical court orders regarding co-parenting therapy, minimized their importance, and ignored my repeated concerns about securing timely school enrollment for our children. Even more alarming, during a call (witnessed by others), he told me "F*** you", completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable for any attorney. I have also repeatedly asked for a clear, itemized bill to understand what I am being charged for, what work wasn't performed, and whether there are duplicate charges since he had duplicate charges in the past. To this day, he has refused to provide transparency. I always paid my bills and treated him with respect, but I was met with condescension, dismissiveness, and questionable billing practices. Kermisch is about the most crooked attorney you can get, padding fees if you talk to his paralegal for 5 minutes he will charge you $800, that is not the half of it, he completely unethical broke our agreement then put garnishments on my payroll after I paid a lump sum of $20K so that he would not...NOT only did he do that against his word for 6 months, it went past the 6 months, I had to call the office several times and finally he took it off for UNEARNED FEES, but he then charged me because i called the office to tell them the case was closed and to stop charging me!! OMG we are going to court!!! and the BAR. This guy has multiple bad reviews on just how unethical and greedy, he just GOUGES people shameless. read more

Truly the worst experience at this firm. For $6,000 I was left with a poorly written, flimsy, vague settlement agreement that is a constant source of frustration and anguish. They never once anticipated opposing counsels actions and even told me I need to figure out how to resolve things on my own. I constantly had to correct grammatical errors, names, genders, etc. My attorney was lazy, petty and didn't care at all about what I was going through. I don't feel the charges were accurate either. The amount of charges increased dramatically a few months in, even though less paperwork was being done. read more
