0 stars! RUN far away from this office. I flew across country to assist my elderly Aunt with dementia for a "new patient" appointment with Dr. Guiseppina Kenyon Savard. I waited at least 6 months to get this appointment and Tina, Receptionist, was well aware of the circumstances. On the morning of the appointment, only 2 hours before our slotted time, Tina called to cancel and stated the Dr. "has to leave early for an emergency". Now, I wasn't happy but realize emergencies happen and asked to be seen by someone else in the office OR get in earlier before the Dr. left ... really anything to accommodate the Dr. note: I was changing Doctor's so my Aunt could be closer as she does not do well travelling any distance. Her prescriptions were expiring and it is critical that we were seen by a Dr to renew the scrips. Tina stated there was nothing they could do and I could not get in at all that day. I reiterated that I was flying back across country the next morning and could not come later that week. At this point, Tina became rude and essentially stated "there's nothing we can do for you and I'm ending this conversation".
I am still in disbelief I was treated this way and this office jeopardizing the medical care of an elderly woman. This is absolutely unacceptable and egregious. I would stay far, far away as I would question the level of care and responsibility for any provider that would think this is acceptable. I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau. read more
