I waited approximately one month for that appointment, and I specifically gave up multiple other activities and appointments throughout that month in order to keep my appointment that the aforementioned nutritionist had scheduled for me. I spent almost an hour on the phone with nutritionist Lisa Deeley, RDN, discussing the appointment which they canceled AFTER our consultation was to take place and which she was unable to provide any reasonable explanation for. Apparently, she did not understand the full implication or repercussion of her professional incompetence. This is actually the second time that this type of unfortunate incident has happened, which obviously reflects egregious negligence and poor management communication skills on the part of the Nutrition Department at Saint Claire Hospital, and this aforementioned serious lack of organization should be addressed so that an improvement can be.made in order to avoid inconvenience to the countless patients whom they see on a daily basis.
