I am here to tell you, enrolling into Elizabethtown Community and Technical College was the best…read moredecision I made, in, well, EVER!!! Although, I am a 55 year young woman ,temporarily separated from the love of my life; I have four children grown, and they now have their own families. I found myself not knowing who I was. Nevertheless, when I walked into ECTC last January, I noticed young and older people glowing with "Goals" written all over their faces. Attitudes of self-worth; I knew right then, when i grew up, I wanted to be just like them! For this reason, I found the rest room ,and I pulled my Big Girl panties up! Finally, for the first time in all of my half of a century on this earth I had a vision, a vision so clear- of myself walking across a stage in a cap and gown, and accepting a degree. The staff helped me with the application process, the ladies in the financial aid office helped me with the FAFSA( and clearly explained it) application. Please correct me if I am wrong, but the only "Loan Officer" in this process is our United States Government, and in state residents are discounted. And even after I signed the Education contract, there is a grace period after class starts, a 100 % refund withdrawal date, you know, just in case that particular class isn't for me. However, my first semester was a "learning curve" for myself, I was appalled they did not have an entourage of advisors, or the "Dean of Students" follow me to show me where to go, and what to expect. LoL Conversely, I realized, I needed to put in the action, and ask for help if I needed it, despite putting me way out of my comfort zone, but most important, the staff and faculty are happy to help, and I am on my way to finishing my first year of college...YAY ME! Thank you Elizabethtown community and Technical College. Happy Holidays. Rhonda B. - Full time student.

I've been going to this barbershop for years now! The prices for haircuts and beard trims are…read moreabsurdly cheap. I've never waited more than 2 minutes to get in a chair because they must have 20+ barber chairs in the place. The students are awesome and eager to take care of you and appreciative when you tip them. I love the atmosphere. It has the barber shop vibe with all the barbers talking sports, music, shoes, hairstyles, or whatever seems to come up. I find myself constantly laughing. Even though the barbers are students they make sure an instructor checks out your cut and approves it before you leave so you know it's a good cut. I'll keep going back because the environment is friendly and relaxed, it's the cheapest cut in town, you leave looking fresh, and I kind of like the idea of helping the students work towards something rather than overpay for an average cut from someone unappreciative somewhere that's more corporate.

The gym was clean and well-maintained, with enough seating for family and friends. The staff and volunteers were friendly and organized, making it easy to find parking and get settled before the game. I called the day before to schedule an appointment and I got an appointment for noon. When I…read morearrived theh checked me in and I waited for a few minutes before someone came to tell me the students were actually going to lunch and asked if I could come back at 1230. Weird, but ok. I told every person I spoke to there, from the phone call the day before to the lady that checked me in, that I'd finished radiation only a month before, that I had aome patchy spots on my scalp where my hair was growing back in one area and the hair that was growing back was really fragile, because I wanted them to be gentle. I was in the middle of telling this to my stylist when she interrupted me to ask if I had eczema. Rude in all aspects. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted. She asked the length I wanted and I showed her, physically, how long I wanted my hair to be once cut (a little below my shoulders, to cover my surgical scar and the area I had radiation too, since I'm more prone to sunburns in that area now). She asked what I liked about it, and I was like, "Umm, the cut?" and she asked if I liked the texture of it. Yea, sure. I had to remind her three times that I'd had radiation recently and to please be gentle before she bothered asking what radiation was... I explained to her and her response was, "Well, I'm glad you didn't die." So that was...awkward... I wish I could post photos, but I ended up with a shoulder-length bob, which was not in any way what I asked for. I wanted it below my shoulders and a little shorted in the back, angling down in the front. I'm not even sure about why she asked if I liked the texture, because she sprayed some hairspray or something and that was the only texturizing she did. The more I think about it the more angry I am at myself that I tipped her for giving me a bob. Just be aware that, in my experience, if a student can't do what you're asking for, they'll just do whatever they can do, whether you like it or not. The one star is for the price.

I am writing this review because of the quality of service and the constant strife for improvement I have observed in the management and staff over the past three months. In my line of work you have quite a few bosses and Kribs2Kids tops the charts -- this has been my experience.
