I couldn't find any doctor in California who provided the 6th edition impairment rating required by the DOL. I knew of a couple of places out of state, but you had to travel to them, plus they made you jump through hoops before they'd schedule an appointment! I was close to buying a plane ticket when my union called referring me to this facility. They said it was done remotely. I was skeptical but what did I have to lose? From the moment I called Meals & Tolar, they took care of everything. I think I paid $75 for them to organize my records for me rather than do it myself. It was worth every penny. Other than that, I never paid a dime. They sent me to a local physical therapist for the actual exam, and then I had a phone interview with Dr. Brien James. He couldn't have been nicer! At the end he told me he would submit the report to DOL, but warned me that it could take up to six moths to get my SA depending on whether it's accepted, denied or they want more info. I was shocked when in less than a month there was a mystery deposit in my account. I went on the ECOMP website and saw that my claim was accepted and that was my first payment, which would continue for the next two and a half years. The amount far exceeded what I was expecting! So if you're looking for an impairment rating, I'd highly recommend Meals & Tolar! You won't regret it!

She is such a caring little doll, plus she is so much fun to be around. If you happen to be looking for a medical doctor I really recommend going with MDVIP Dr. Lee Meals. She doesn't run the typical practise that runs you through like cattle. You never have to wait and you always actually talk to her. She gives you her cell phone number! Good luck with that if you go to any other doctor in Paducah!

They have consistently found problems that my general practitioner has missed and are always very thorough.

I paid them $1,000 upfront for my IUD, and my insurance covered all but about $7 of the cost. The office was to reimburse me the remainder. Wonderful, right? No. I paid them in May. It's currently August 30th and I'm still out $993. I've called multiple times and gotten either an automated message or an increasingly annoyed-sounding receptionist. At my follow-up, I asked to see their billing staff member in person. She, of course, wasn't in. I've been told repeatedly, "We cut checks on Fridays. We'll call you when it's ready." If the roles were reversed, and I'd failed to pay them a grand, you can bet I'd have been sent to collections. I hope I can update this review with a full five stars when they reimburse me. The medical staff deserve it. But for now, I have to recommend you find another office for your birth control needs.

She treated me and my child like she would anyone and fought for us and with us for us to hold our child before he gained his wings. 13 months later she delivered my second child and 16 months after that our little girl.
