I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the clinical competence, professional…read moreconduct, and administrative reliability of this practice. My experience began with a major inconvenience. I received a cancellation notice just 20 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment while already en route. The justification provided was that the practitioner suffers from chronic, debilitating condition which she suffers. I was dumbfounded that the staff revealed specific conditions (won't reveal the specific condition that they named) of their own practitioners to patients. HIPPA ? Hmmm While I am empathetic to chronic health conditions, the office staff appeared utterly perplexed and dismissive of my entirely reasonable decision to transition to a more reliable primary care provider. When I was finally "somewhat" evaluated, the clinical care was unacceptably substandard. I presented a specific cluster of symptoms and explicitly communicated my concern regarding a potential underlying infection or viral illness. Despite this clinical indication, the nurse practitioner failed to conduct a thorough physical examination. Essential diagnostic checks--including evaluation of my ears, nose, throat, and lymph nodes and barely looked at me or touched me, these were entirely omitted. She appeared distressed and did not appear to listen to me for I repeated myself over and over clarifying in precise terms and language. Furthermore, when I requested a routine or basic metabolic panel to narrow down a diagnosis, she refused the request, stating "my hands are tied" -- verbatim. Rather than executing a basic diagnostic workup, she told me a specialist wouldn't even see me because my symptoms were not severe enough. This represents either a severe deficit in clinical competence or a complete lack of patient care, driven by a desire to expedite my departure from the examination room. It was a thoroughly distressing and negligent experience. The nurse who took my initial assessment with questions was very kind, thoughtful and thorough. The only positive experience. Fortunately, I have established care with a new medical practice the same day. Their providers listened to my concerns, promptly ordered the appropriate diagnostic laboratory workups, and confirmed the presence of an infection requiring treatment. I highly recommend seeking a primary care elsewhere, where patient symptoms are properly investigated and evidence-based care is prioritized. I should have read her bio more carefully and encourage you to do the same, as it reads like a dating profile, where very little is stated to do with expertise and approaches to care and more about her hobbies, animals and family events. I would like an answer as to what this office actually does for people?

I had received care for multiple years from Nutmeg Primary Care. I received many misdiagnosis…read moreduring this time for easily treatable and recognizable symptoms. The APRN was dismissive of some serious conditions. I ended up hospitalized multiple times because of negligent practices. They did not hold to a standard of ethics and their business practices were borderline in violation of HIPAA protections and civil rights laws.
