I went to Kent today for a curbside pickup. Waited forever for someone to answer the phone. In fact, there was a lady parked next to me that ended up going in the store to pick up her order because she couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. It took over 30 min before I got directions on where to pick up my garden supplies. I had to drive to another location and there was no one there to help me, I had to chase someone down and insist that they load the soil into my car. They were not nice at all, one young lady didn't have any idea what she was doing. I was over charged on my purchase and waited on the phone for another 30 minutes to resolve that issue. I was so not impressed with the store and the service. It will be a while before I go back, if ever. Either have curbside service or not but don't offer it and then not provide it. read more

My initial reaction walking into this store was "looks very similar to a Home Depot". Although I'm not a builder or needed anything to upgrade/fix, this is a case of the more the merrier. It's good to have a competitor like Home Depot close by for some friendly competition. read more

Things have changed in the garden centre since 2014 apparently. I feel that customers are being taken advantage of. After waiting in line for the privilege of browsing the dried out stock, we realized that there were no prices on most plants. Another 20 minutes in line to pay and the prices are significantly higher than most garden centres. I feel the business model is "They've come this far, they'll pay whatever we charge." Sherry was so helpful after some real hiccups with the shipping Dept Sherry went out of her way to go to a different store in person at 7 am. Before her own shift at Kent on the south side to ensure our order was intact there and to get it shipped to us, she kept in touch and helped to put our mind at ease When you are in the middle of Reno's it's stressful enough! However Sherry was incredible she went above and beyond Customer service at Kent's is the best we have had in a long time! Also a shout out to Brad the manager in flooring very helpful and a great guy! Over all and after all said and done thanks to sherry and customer service crew we will be finished on time! read more

Want to waste time never get the sale price on items(they hardly ever put the sale price in the system) charging those that don't double check regular price. No staff, line a customer service is three times longer than at the cash, yet still wait 10-15 to move a couple places. Come on 20 staff walking around staring at the roof. You would think that being the Canadian first in home construction that this place would take pride in serving its locals. Unfortunately, they're a little more like Mericans by not having any real customer service. We walked all over the yard trying to find lumber and there was no one to assist us. We have been waiting 3 weeks to have a door installed that was in the store. Finally get a date for early morning and no one shows up. I called twice which this is not my job it's theirs. Very poor consumer service and the girl in installations is very rude. This will be the last time we take our business here. Maybe some work shops on how to treat paying consumers. read more
