A nice spot to stop for coffee close to the Palace and shopping. They have cookies included vegan options. The service is friendly.

I went to Kensington two times during my trip in Nancy. The first time I got a pink lemonade which was pretty good. It's nice to know some people remember that pink lemonade was originally made with strawberries and was labeled "pink" because of it's color after the strawberries were added, not that you can just color lemonade pink and pull it off as 'pink lemonade'. It was a bit too sour but I guess I could have gone back and gotten some sugar. The second time I got a mocca frappe which was suppose to be a frappacino styled drink. Maybe their definition is just different from what I'm used to but I expected it to be blended and iced but it was sorta.... cold and fluffy. It was alright but nothing special. On the bright side it's the only place I can think of in this area that makes coffee to-go in the plastic cups I'm used to back home, yay! So if you're not looking to sit at a cafe for an hour and chat like the rest of France, this isn't too bad of a place to grab a cup of joe. read more

Kensington is such a great addition to Nancy. It's the perfect spot for everyone from North American expats to tourists to locals. The drinks and sandwiches are creative, well-priced, and always evolving; everything is tasty and delightfully unpretentious. The music is hand chosen and often highlights local bands. The shop itself has cool little nooks with couches and magazines, booths for larger groups, a bar looking out onto the street, and a terrace for a more typical French cafe vibe. I've been a devoted customer since it opened last November and I have loved seeing Kensington turn into such a community hot spot in Nancy. read more
