On Thursday, APRIL6th , my wife shopped at Ken's NO Frills in DAUPHIN .My wife ,aged 74 , normally uses a cane or a walker due to extreme lower back pain but this trip she was able to get a grocery cart . She did her shopping and went through the check out counter when she was treated poorly.
She paid for her groceries and hoped the girl would pack her groceries in our bags . UNFORTUNATELY , this checkout girl chose to talk to another checkout girl at the next till and watched as my wife painfully packed her bags and loaded them into her cart herself .
My wife was very disappointed since the girl was not pressured to serve another customer and could easily have helped load up the bags . BUT No , it was more important to get paid to talk to a nearby cohort than help out a small older grey haired woman .
You can bet that my wife will not forgive or forget the way she was treated ! THE girls at the local CO-op and SAFEWAY always serve their customers well and treat them with respect . HMM, where do you think my wife will go shopping next time by herself ? read more
