Through the whole process their communication, professionalism, and work quality were top notch. When we ran into a couple of issues/discoveries along the way, they knew the right people to call on to have things handled the correct way for a fair price. You agree that it was taking longer than expected but that it was because the Home and Garden Show exposure. You didn't call me, I call you. I called after your visit, but you didn't answer, so I left a vm and text. Later in April, I called you and you answered that time. I asked about the estimate. You said that Danae had gotten my online inquiry and that she'd get back with. I stated that I wasn't trying to rush you and was patient because I want you to do the work. I reminded you that you said, "2 to 3 days (April 14) but it wasn't until April 24 that I got a concrete answer that you will not be doing the job. My contention isn't that you can't do the job, but that I wasn't given the courtesy to tell me that you weren't interested in providing the estimate nor would be able to do the job. If I hadn't called or inquired, I would never have gotten an answer at all. How could I give you a higher rating? You only came to look at the project. I can't grade you on quality, service or promptness because I have no reference point to go by. My review isn't harsh but simply stated as it happened. Danae seems to be the person who makes the decisions on which jobs to take. Maybe a conversation she be had with her if you don't want more reviews like mine.

Five Star Solutions arrived first, and after working with them for 20 minutes we both knew we would not need to talk to the other two vendors. They clearly explained every step of the process (including financing) and applied no upselling pressure. We scheduled the install, and when space appeared on their calendar they even contacted us to see if we wanted to start early. The two-person crew completed the job over two days, and we are completely satisfied with the results. There will be other projects in the future, and we know we will only need to make one call to schedule them.

He was very kind and literally answered every single question we had with ease. He knew his stuff, which in turn helped us make the decision to move forward with this project. We designed the entire shower before he left that evening. A few days later, we met with Bob, our project manager. He did some measuring, penciled in a date for the project, and went over the details of what to expect next. What a nice guy too! We were pleasantly surprised with the date being moved up a week earlier. Shauna kept us updated during the whole process. Her communication was on point. Our installers, Tyler & Ben, showed up on a Thursday morning to start the project. Talk about courteous & professional, these two guys were outstanding! They worked nonstop all day Thursday & Friday to get this done for us. They even made sure our mother had access to the bathroom if needed throughout both days. I have however, called, had an estimate appointment with Mr. Wrenn himself. He was very kind, informative and efficient, having spent over 1 hour at our home. He told us that he would have an estimate for us ready on Tuesday, which was 6 days after his visit. Those 6 days passed, and we received an email stating that they had some complications with their business and would be a bit longer than expected. We were okay with that. 4 days later, (now 10 from the date of estimate appointment) another email stating delay. Fine, now it's frustrating. Now, 16 days later...we received an email saying they cannot deliver an estimate for our job in a timely manner and are passing on giving an estimate. I guess they don't want our business, this is very disappointing.

I hired Greg to renovate a half bath that had a toilet that leaked, damaging the sub floor and…read morehardwoods in the hall. The first red flag was Greg's cartoonish quote for work. Greg is a smooth talker and made it seem like it would all be good. He said payment would be due upon completion although there was no mention of this in the "contract." Turns out "Remove vanity and install custom vanity" means ripping out the large existing vanity, sink, and huge mirror and then popping down the pedestal sink THAT I BOUGHT. Period. Red flag #2: When I asked Greg about the massive drywall damage, he said "Is it in the contract?" The agreement does say he does not cover drywall repair, but this was literally left in a demo state. On Day 2, while the entire floor was ripped up with the crawlspace exposed, Greg asked me for a check. I said I planned to pay him with a credit card and it would take me a few days to move money around to give him the equivalent of cash. Day 3 he walked off the job claiming non-payment. After I calmly explained that I could not be in non-payment because no payment was due, Greg came back the next day like nothing happened... All of the insulations under the half bath was wet so it had to go. Greg did not want anything to do with replacing it. I went out and bought insulation and installed it myself. Either Greg or his plumber, Drew, cracked the first sink basin during install. Luckily Home Depot replaced it with no questions and Drew came back and installed the new one. Drew was actually great. I did all of the leg work for the return, so don't expect Greg to actually stand by his work or take responsibility for mistakes. Greg made it clear he does not do hardwood floor repair and I was fine with that. Turns out, my hardwood flooring guy discovered that there was a strange strip of plywood sub floor installed to fill a gap that was not actually supported. We found out why when he pulled it up. See photos. Don't expect structural repairs to actually connect to other structural members. Don't expect your tile OR subfloor to be level or flat. Don't expect a professional job.

I contacted NHRC and Greg came out the next day for a consultation. He quoted me a price that I thought was very good for the entire bathroom remodel. Greg and his other worker were very efficient and even though we ran into a few issues (old plumbing and uneven walls), Greg was able to troubleshoot the issues and did a fantastic job with this renovation. As you can see from the photos, the bathroom turned out beautifully! I'm very happy with the results. Greg did such a great job. I will be contacting him for future renovations. However, we found Tim's crew is courteous, respectful, and clean. which made the process much easier on us. Also the work is impeccable. Tim is very knowledgeable about building codes and carpentry which helped guide us through the process, and he works with Kitchen's By Amy for cabinets and hardware. The process was smooth and easy. This review is for services done to our home last summer, but unfortunately just now getting around…read moreto reviewing. Nonetheless, our contact person Madeleine and her crew came out to assess our foundation and cracks and some mold from the humidity in the crawlspace. In the end we went with mold remediation, a sump pump, new vapor barrier, joist lifts, and air sealing to keep out the creepy crawlies. Big ticket expense, but when compared to the competition, we went with them because of the thoroughness with the estimate interview and the willingness to answer all of our questions, they were also well-spoken of on other review sites including a popular large community message board, and the price was pretty comparable. Also, the crew was very good. My only ding would be was not putting the items in the crawlspace back in the order that it was originally, which saved space. But to add to their credit, we have one additional project that needs to be done outside of Little Corner's scope and the new company took a look at Little Corner's work and said "They did a very good job, this is how we would have done it."
