Ya know, I don't know how these folks got so many bad reviews. I went for a skin check up. I'm a…read moreover 60 white guy with pretty lousy skin. Daniel did the check up. I came in with my own picto-gram that my wife did before I went which he thought was a good idea but he has a process. He was very thorough. I mean thorough. found a few things that were concerning, did a few biopsies and found them to be basil cell carcinomas. I got a call from the surgeon Dr. Yu's office a couple days later and scheduled to have them removed. They were terrific. The building they are in is a little old but the services were not. I couldn't be more pleased. I have a follow up tomorrow so if my opinion changes I'll let you know.

I had an initial appointment scheduled today at 1:00 PM after waiting over two months. In December,…read moreI confirmed with the office that my referral had been received. However, upon check-in today, I was told they did not have it and was asked to sign a waiver stating I would be financially responsible if the referral was not obtained -- despite being previously told it had already been received. I calmly expressed concern about signing a financial waiver for something I had confirmed months ago. I made it clear I was not trying to be difficult, but I was understandably hesitant to assume liability for what appeared to be an internal administrative issue. I was told my options were to sign the waiver or reschedule once the referral was received. I chose to reschedule. What followed was deeply disturbing. The receptionist, Cynthia, followed me out of the office and began verbally confronting me in the hallway. She raised her voice, accused me of "being a hard time wherever you go," demanded to know why I didn't believe her, and continued escalating despite my attempts to de-escalate. When I mentioned that I also work in healthcare and understood administrative challenges, she told me I should "go get a new job." Her yelling drew other staff members, including physicians and medical assistants, into the hallway. One staff member, Jennifer, handled the situation professionally and attempted to help de-escalate, which I greatly appreciated. Despite being asked by colleagues to step away, Cynthia re-engaged with me multiple additional times, continuing to raise her voice and approach me in a confrontational manner. At one point, Cynthia again left the waiting room to approach me and say she would call the police on me while having a conversation with Jennifer. That statement alone was alarming and inappropriate. Threatening to break client confidentiality out of anger is not something to take lightly. I felt unsafe and personally threatened in what should have been a professional medical environment. No patient should experience repeated verbal confrontation, public escalation, and intimidation for asking reasonable questions about billing responsibility. After leaving, I waited to hear from the office manager and later called because I was deeply concerned -- both about the conduct I experienced and about someone who demonstrated that level of escalation having access to my personal medical information. This was not simply a scheduling issue. It was a serious breakdown in professionalism, patient safety, and basic conduct. I sincerely hope leadership addresses this matter appropriately so no other patient has to experience what I did.

Having been told by my physician that I need urgent testing for a suspicious mole- Dr. Sestre is the only network provider on the South Shore for follow up... My wife has a history of basal cell carcinoma and may be having a flare-up and yet still..."wait until August" The first available appointment, I was told, is in August although my physician tells me it needs to be done in a matter of weeks. And then- the doctor will not send my sample, if needed, to a lab less than 2 miles down the road. There's no compassion and no flexibility and this makes no sense whatsoever! What kind of people are these???

I was told I was considered a new patient because I haven't been there in a year I was told he could see me in January!! WHAT???? The girl was a robot!! No feeling, no caring, zilch!! I asked to speak to the Doctor personally. She wouldn't even allow me to leave a message. I remember countless talks with this doctor about how he went to medical school to help people with skin problems. I was truly truly disappointed by this. I would like to think he would be as well. Although she stated this was his policy ( I really hope not) I would think twice about selecting this practice.

Heading our tremendous care was Dr. Kaplan. Dr. Kaplan is extremely knowledgeable, thorough in his work, and a medical professional who listens carefully to his patients, which is exception, not the rule in modern healthcare.

It was not with my doctor that I was assigned when I joined the practice, I wish it was as I heard amazing things about her. Instead I got Susan Sullivan. If you want someone to actually listen to your concerns and to care enough to have a conversation with you, do not go to Susan Sullivan. I have family history of melanoma, my mother recently passed. I have a very strange large raised mark on my leg when I tried to show her she immediately, with out moving an inch closer to look at it, she laughed, smirked and said curtly "that's a freckle." It absolutely looks nothing like a freckle. I also wanted to mention sharp chest pains in my chest she kept the smirk on her face and laughed at me again and said that's normal. Again asked no further questions and failed to explain to me how sharp pains in my chest are normal. I told her about a very strange numbing wrist pain that feels paralyzed at times, again she laughed smirked and said that's from sleeping and totally normal. Failed to ask me a single question or look into any of my concerns for even a second further. (I am not a dramatic person and don't even like to go to the doctors for my problems I'd rather just live with them, but here I was trying to do the right thing and let the doctor know how I've been feeling and she treated me like I was stupid for doing that) I feel very un-cared for. I'm 25 years old this was my first physical in years I was kind of excited to speak with a professional about my health, but now I feel like I was treated like a dramatic child being told to drink water to solve their fake illness. Extremely unprofessional. I feel bad for anyone that has to see Susan Sullivan for a visit. She shot me down so bad I just stopped talking, there was more I would have liked for her to check like my hearing, but she made me so uncomfortable by laughing and smirking at me that I just gave up. Please take this review seriously because I've never seen anyone be so heartless careless and soulless like her. They also didn't draw my blood isn't that a normal thing at all physical? They had no idea what was going on the nurses kept asking me if I was all set I had to tell them I needed a tetanus shot and then they told me all set with out me doing my labs. So what did I pay a 40$ co pay for? I didn't get my blood tested and Susan Sullivan didn't listen to any of my health issues, she laughed at me.
