I've met Dr Lee while he has been caring for my parents. He is the only one of the doctors I've encountered in my parents orbit that truly cares so deeply for the health of his patients. No follow up to colonoscopy. Dr is part owner of the facility where the procedures are performed. Doctor seemed confused and reticent during initial exam. Facilities charge was thousands of dollars and the procedure was listed as abdominal surgery-- it was not. Trust factor is questionable. read more

Made an appointment with Maria 2 weeks ago for a consultation with Dr. Lee. Made a follow up phone call to verify my insurance so I know what my financial responsibility would be. Maria refused to get my insurance information over the phone for verification which most of my doctor's office don't have an issue doing. Her reasoning was that they verify the insurance when patients arrive to their appointment. I read in another review for this doctor's office that they sent a pricey bill out for a simple consultation. So my advice is to call your insurance company yourself and have them verify whether your in or out of network before your appointment. read more

I would give this location NO STARS if it was available!! The office has absolutely no people skill, sound like a bunch of unprofessional girls. One of the girls actually hung up on me, because she couldn't handle the pressure of answering questions! Dr.Lee just repeats himself on every zoom call, but he still getting paid. I sent to him for over 4 months and NOTHING was accomplished. I was the one giving suggestions, "hello aren't you the Dr". Then the billing department ‍‍ they send me 4 different bills, all different amounts, but all have the same dates of service. I send in 2 payments and my amount due stayed the same. It took one check over 4 months to clear, and they dont know that it even cleared. Then there asking me, if I can show proof that it cleared, Helllllloooooo someone in your office obviously deposited it!!!! Save yourself a major headache and go somewhere else read more

The worst experience ever. He's a scam, I'm in the process of reporting this doctor to the Medical Board of California. It's amazing how this doctor is considered in-network and then after the procedure, he files the service under a different name which is out-of-network... then provides the material two other doctors that aren't in the network so that we will be left with a hefty bill of $13,000! THE WORST DOCTOR AND DOCTORS OFFICE. They won't work with you or help you. They'll just tell your "well it's the patient's responsibility to know". Uh, how would you know where Dr. Kenneth Lee is going to send all the material for testing? If we knew he was going to send the material he extracted from the body to two other doctors that weren't in the network, don't you think it would be common sense for us to say, DON'T?! read more

Buyer beware!! This guy charged me $103.00 for a 2 min phone call and never followed up.

Actually no stars. Worse experience ever! I was referred to this office in January. Sat in the waiting room for a good 45 mins. Not very friendly staff, office vibes made me even more anxious to get out of there. Finally was brought in they weighted me then brought me to the room waited another 15-20 mins. Finally Mr. Lee walks in with another lady who sat silently in the corner (not sure why, she didn't even identify herself) as he began to ask me what is the reason for my visit after I explained my issues he basically told me he couldn't help me that the story I gave him didn't sound like there was anything he could do for me. He wasn't sure why they had referred me to his office. We literally had a 15 min conversation and I left. He was on the rude side very arrogant so I was glad to be gone to find someone who could actually care to help me. Flash forward to when I received a bill. YES I RECEIVED A BILL! First it was $300 then was dropped to half. For what I have no clue. I didn't know offices can charge for a 15 min conversation. Very disappointing to see how this office is run. No integrity whatsoever. So I called to ask why I was being billed. No good reasons were given just sarcasm. When I explained the whole scenario the office manager didn't even care, when I was done talking she just said okay so will you be paying by credit or debit. Its really sad and unfortunate that these offices scam people and then can't even have compassion hear someone out and be sorry for causing this experience especially in times like these when people like myself aren't making money to pay bills. I hope the office sees this and rethinks how they treat people, and when I get the money they can take it and put it where the sun don't shine. What goes around comes around. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. This practice has been deceitful and rude, and I would recommend looking for another doctor unless you like getting billed 2 years later for medical procedures that were confirmed to have been authorized and covered by insurance. This office confirmed twice that my husbands procedure was completely covered by our insurance. Then we received a bill a few months later, saying that our insurance only covered part of the procedure. We paid it immediately. Now, 2 YEARS LATER, they sent a new bill for $600. When I called the billing rep was rude and talked over me most of the conversation. She said that in January of 2020 the insurance was no longer responsible for a bill they rejected 2 YEARS prior (without the drs office every notifying me) and now I was responsible for it and that their office was no longer willing to work out the issue with my insurance. After contacting my insurance I found out that Dr Lee's office tried to bill and get preauthorization from my insurance for 2 of the same procedures on the same day, when we were only getting one, so they were both rejected for preauthorization. The office went ahead with the procedure knowing they did not get preauthorization, and did not tell us for 2 years after the fact, I am disgusted by my experience with this medical office and they way they treat their patients. read more

I waited a week to book this appointment and I specifically told this lady that I didn't want to have a difficult time because it was my first time to see a doctor in over 5 years. When I came in, she made it seem like an inconvenience for me to be there. I didn't even go to my appointment and I was in the lobby. I'm 55 and decided that I needed my first colonoscopy. I chose Dr. Lee because he was in network, and even though he had some poor reviews, all the other gastroenterologist had negative reviews also. Everything went smoothly. The nurses at Casa Colina were all so nice, professional and positive. They made me feel comfortable the whole time. Dr Lee was also very professional and made sure that I knew what to expect. When I woke up, they said that it was all done. See you in 10 years. read more

I Was referred to Doctor Kenneth Lee by my primary doctor. At my initial consultation with Doctor Lee he discussed colonoscopy & endoscopy procedure and assured me I would not feel a thing, I would be asleep through both procedures which made me feel at ease. They scheduled both to be done on same day. The experience was straight out of a movie! I woke up either in the middle or beginning of endoscopy gagging as the camera was being inserted down my throat!! I felt pure fear & panic and I reached to pull the camera out of the doctors hand and one of the nurses yelled at me to stop. Another nurse gave me an additional shot to put me under-After a couple minutes which seemed a life time, I was once again sedated. Needless to say, I woke up AGAIN during colonoscopy!!! I was told by Doctor Kenneth Lee that I would be asleep throughout BOTH procedures and I would not feel a thing, it would be a quick and painless procedure. This was definitely not the case. I have relatives and friends who have had both procedures done elsewhere and their experience was complete opposite of mine. Doctor Lee did not even bother coming to recovery room to ask me if I was okay or to give me an explanation as to why I woke up twice during BOTH procedures. I was assured a pain free easy quick procedure, Doctor Lee and his surgery staff did not provide that. read more

Just got back from the screening colonoscopy and it wasn't bad at all because he made me feel comfortable and gave me information as to what was being done along the way.
