Moving to another city and losing my mother. After all of this I became very depressed for a while. I know I had to make some changes Starting with my taxes but I was way in Over my head, Not capable of doing them on my own especially after letting so many years go bye I was afraid if I did them I would miss a lot of things that would probably have given me a break on my taxes I was way in over my head in some of the worst tax debt, I happened to search through yelp and found several CPA's in Oakland. The first 2 CPA's I didn't even get out of the car to visit with them because they had no parking and the parking they had was too far away this was a problem for me because I couldn't walk so well after some minor surgery, I then came across Jerry Sung CPA and associates they have parking right in front of their building I gave them a call made an appointment but didn't make it there in time so I had to reschedule I finally got there the next day expecting just anybody there to take care of my taxes I actually met with Jerry Song, he got six years of taxes done In under Three hours he even got my stimulus check payment added to my 2021 taxes (All 3 payments) by the time I left I knew I had gone to the right place next year going to do my taxes super early because I now know where to go so you've heard my story if your problems are smaller he can get your taxes done even quicker I highly recommend Jerry sung CPA and associates and by the way I didn't have enough money to pay six years of taxes all at once so Jerry worked out A payment plan so now that problem in my life has been straightened out the others seems so much smaller so if you're looking for a good CPA think Jerry song Maybe he can take some of the tax weight off your shoulders like he did for me

I am in the middle of a purchasing an existing business and got to a point during my business…read moretransaction where I had to submit an Allocation Form that was time sensitive. I needed direction from my CPA but he was out of town doing a business seminar. My situation was unique as the seller usually does the allocation in a business purchase but in my case, the broker/seller was pushing me to do it. I called several CPAs in the San Ramon/Danville/Dublin area to see if we could have a "filler" CPA go over numbers with us for this transaction. I must have called 25 CPA's in a day. Some answered and we're quick to tell me that I should push back, and make the seller do it. They made it seem like what I was looking for couldn't be done and they just didn't want to deal with it. Like many of the CPA's I called, Ken was busy when i first reached out. But his assistant or front desk person, Reese(if that's how you spell it) was very attentive with his responses. Ken is the only accountant that called back and only accountant that actually asked me the details/numbers of my transaction. He took time to understand the unique-ness of my situation and made sense of it. In a 25 minute call he educated me more than the 7 or 8 other CPAs with higher review ratings. After talking to him, I felt like I was given "survival tools" and "little nuggets" for my bigger, future entrepreneurial endeavors. He was so pleasant and easy to talk to. To be in the generation of customer service being taken over by robots and people treating everyone like numbers. Both Ken and Reese were so authentic and human in their responses. No overselling, no fake politeness. I have been with my CPA in Hayward for 10 years and Ken really has me thinking about switching over.
