It's not all that often that I go see the doctor, but when I do it's a good experience with him and the staff from the Mecklenburg Medical Group. My previous doctor was pretty good as well... but a little too good. It was really hard to get an appointment with him when/if I needed one so I sought out a new doctor. Luckily I came upon Dr. Shelton. The office is located in Southpark so it's pretty convenient from most places in Charlotte. Parking is never an issue. I did have to get used to e-prescriptions. I guess I'm old skool in that I expect a little piece of paper to take to my Pharmacy... but they just send it electronically and the prescription is waiting for me when I get there. Not that Dr. Shelton is one to dispense pills to treat you, but we discuss the options and it feels like I make an informed choice whenever I visit this doctor's office. Dr. Shelton is a part of CMC and have a vast network of Doctors to pull expertise from as well. I've had a couple referrals and they turned out great.

Thankfully Dr. Greene and his staff made my anxiety reside in minutes. Great bedside manners and very informative of all tests they were doing and happy to answer any questions that I might have. Dr. Greene has been practicing for a long time now and I felt like I wanted that during my initial search because I really like experience over scholastics when it comes to medical issues. I figured with Dr. Greene's tenure he's seen a lot and if something ever arises he'll have a good idea how to treat and address it.

So if you need a neurologist because you struggle to function, this is not the neurologist for you. She was very sensitive to the family being out of town and went the extra mile in keeping me advised to ensure I was aware of her condition. I understand beforehand they couldn't, but come on! this was freaking after they stucker! First of all, they called her a whoos for screeming like a quote: hyheena", then told her they'd not keep treating her if she didn't learn to stop crying like a baby, and that no, she absolutely could not have a cup of water. Then the phlebotomist just turned around and walked out of the room. When I told Dr. Belgrave once that I was having a lot of head aches as of late probably from stress, he responded by telling me well, we could whack you upside the head and knock you out. Maybe that'll help. Granted, he was kidding, but come the heck on! I'm sorry, but you have a patient who truely is seeking your medical help, and you make a smart ass comment like that? Are you kidding? me? Hmm! Speaking of doctors, in Dr. Phil's words, Gee, Dr. Belgrave, how's that comment workin for ya? I'm sorry, but there is no way in heck! you'd have me go there! I'm now with another medical practice which is closer in to where I now live, and let me tell you something, I told them about my experience here, and I thought Doctor X, we'll just call my current doctor, was spontaniously going to combust! Livid doesn't even come close to cutting it! I've now been with this other group for almost 2 and a half years, it'll be 3 this December, and never once have I had this issue.
