Ken engraved a couple of chef's knives for me. He did a great job and had the work done as promised. He is very competent and reliable.

I needed 11 glass awards in 3 sizes with custom logo, font, etc. I'd looked online, but could find…read moresomething in my budget or trust that the engraving would be perfect. Bayshore Trophy will make you want to buy local and support our community businesses! They delivered real customer service, by listening to my needs and offering practical options. They not only met my timeframe, budget and provided excellent service with a smile- they came in under budget and early. Christy zoned into my product needs and helped with selection and ordering; Daryl was excellent, patiently working with me on my engraving details and Mr Charles Curry himself, helped me for my order pick up. I feel the love from these folks and can't wait to hire them again for next year's awards!

I called other trophy shops around and got the same line, cannot be done in less than a week and no matter what I was willing to offer as their assembly protocol could not be violated. I called Charles at Bayshore and explained the situation to him. He was completely willing to put other items on hold and do it today. He sent me the model which looked perfect within one hour and when I told him it was good to go he had it done in less than one hour and called to tell me it was done ahead of time. I took the trophy to the benefactor and he was overjoyed and felt fully validated, him and his wife shaking my hand and donating more then and there. Thanks to Charles for his dependability and willingness to help in a real pinch. GH

I have entrusted David Reynolds with jewelry repairs, the restoration of treasured pieces, and…read morecustom designs for the past several years, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. Sean has been incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable throughout every project. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly second to none. Every piece I have brought in has been beautifully restored and brought back to life, and with each custom design, my vision was not only understood, but executed flawlessly. T. recently created a custom ring for me using several sentimental pieces of my own, and the result was exactly as I had imagined. The design was intricate and delicate, thoughtfully curated with remarkable attention to detail while still preserving the meaning behind each piece. He transformed something deeply personal into a timeless ring that I will always love and cherish.

I never write bad reviews but I would NOT recommend David Reynolds Jewelry based on my experience…read moreand wish I knew their unprofessionalism before going in. I came in to have my rings resized and soldered together. On my first visit I didn't realize the work would take about a week, and since I had upcoming travel, I came back to drop the rings off on a second visit so there would be enough time. On that second visit I was quoted roughly $100 more than I'd been quoted a couple of weeks earlier for the exact same services, with no explanation for the increase. I was told it would take a week. A week later I called to check on my rings and was told it would be at least another week -- even though I had specifically dropped them off early because of my travel dates, which I'd made clear. On the phone, they acknowledged their mistake and offered a discount to make it right, but the "discount" would have been applied to the already-inflated second price, so it didn't amount to much. When I came in at the one-week mark to pick up my rings, no work had been done to them at all, and no one even mentioned the discount they had promised over the phone. On top of that, throughout both visits I felt very rushed. They didn't even size my fingers for the resize when I initially came in, and they forgot to note the soldering on my receipt -- I had to go back in person the day I dropped it off to confirm it was included, which it had not been. At that point I left with my rings and no services performed, because I simply didn't trust them to handle the job. Between the pricing inconsistency, the repeated delays, the unfulfilled promise, and the disorganized and rushed service, I would not recommend this jeweler.

I've been here twice. The place was filthy for each visit. The lady who sits there said with…read moreeach visit (about 2 yrs apart) that 'its our busy time'. The first time I went, I was told the order would take about a fortnight, and I would get a call. The call never came so I stopped by. The order had yet to be completed. It was done right then and there when it was revealed that my dog's ashes were in the urn that needed to be engraved. Fast forward, a couple years later and I have another urn that requires engraving. This time around, I wrote my initials in the dust on 1 of the shelves when I walked in. The lady stands up when I told her what I needed and handed me a tape measure. (I kid you not). She then instructs me to measure the urn and write the info down on a piece of paper. I select an ink pen which, coincidentally, doesn't work either. The next pen is more successful. I'm then asked which of the 4,000 fonts I want. Sadly, I said I didn't know what the 4,000 were. I should have asked how I was supposed to know that. Anyway, I see a sample I like early on so I didn't need to look at the remaining 3,995. I'm told it's a 'busy time of year' but I will get an 'email next week' with a preliminary engraving and, once I approve it, the job will get done. Ok, I'll admit I knew the lady was lying, but you know how you want to think positive. A week and 2 days later, I call. The same chick tells me she will call me back 'in a few minutes' after she checks on my order. Ok, I'll admit I knew the lady was lying, but you know how you want to think positive. 5 days later, I call back four times. No answer. No answering machine either. The next day, I call again. I explained about the lack of an email and a phone call. The lady kept interrupting and saying 'yes'. What's up with that? She said she would check on my order and call me back. Ok, I'll admit I knew the lady was lying, but you know how you want to think positive.

I was supposed to be picking up locks for my wedding and upon walking in I noticed the date was incorrect. I indicated this to the owner and he pulled the paper out and showed me what was supposed to be 07.02.2022 and now looked like the 02 had been written over with an 8. When he showed me I simply stated "I guess that does look like an 8 but it does look written over" - my goodness, it was like a switch had been flipped and he just started yelling at me "how dare you accuse me of changing my customers requests" (mind you, the other lady in the shop said "Rich, just relax take it back a notch" which sounds to me he treats his customers like this frequently) I then indicated I did no such thing, simply just stating a fact and he then continued to yell and belittle me saying things like "you need to get your attitude in check little girl". I was so taken aback with this behavior I simply just left but here is where it gets worse, while I was walking out the door he yelled "you fucking bitch!" I'm absolutely appalled a business owner would treat their customers this way. I was willing to try to work on a solution but instead was met with anger and hostility.
