This guy knows who is clients are and should be, and my business wasn't a fit. And that's fucking awesome that he should be so forthright. I love that! My business is incredibly simple. I just don't need the services that many businesses do, and Randy would rather work with clients who need more than simply their taxes done. So thank you Randy. I reached out to Curtis towards the end of last year after I was referred to him by someone I know…read more I explained to him what I needed for a non profit company I'm a volunteer for. He agreed he could do the work and we entered into an agreement mid December. He gave me a list of things he needed from us. The treasurer and I kept him updated on our progress on the things he'd asked for. By mid February we had everything ready for him that he'd requested. He said he'd get to work on our project. By mid March I reached out to him and he said that he wouldn't be able to really work on it until after tax season (end of April) ok no problem. We run fiscal year and not calendar year so that's fine. Beginning of May I reached out to him and he said he'd start working on it the following. Week. Ok. End of May I reached out again and he said he'd been swamped with the tax season but would start the following week. First week of June the treasurer reached out to him to see how things were going and we were told that he was getting started that week and everything would be completed and wrapped up by the end of of June 6/30. Well you can see what the date is and the rating. He didn't ever even start our project despite promising 6 different times he'd start working on it next week. The 6th time I told him no I was terminating our agreement and we'd be going another direction. I can't honestly speak for how he does as a cpa seeing as he didn't do the things he promised. Save yourself the headache and money and just look elsewhere.

Jeff has been doing my taxes for two years now. I couldn't find his number today to have him answer…read morea tax/accounting question. I googled his number. Yelp came up and I was amazed that 1- he only had two reviews and 2- that they were both negative. Jeff did a great job on my taxes, he was upfront, and reasonable on costs. He was prompt in responding, kind and understanding. To hear someone that would say that he is rude is very unfortunate. He is a kind man, an eclectic office for sure, but the design of his office has no baring on how respectful, thorough and professional he has been with me. As someone that works in customer service myself, often times people write reviews only do so because they were given information that they were not pleased with. The "shoot the messenger" mentality. Jeff is great, you will see for your self!
