Not very good at all.
Kelvin isn't by any means a bad hotel, comfortable beds, very friendly staff, real good toilets, but there's just little things they don't get right.
The wi-fi in there is atrocious, you can connect but it really just won't work, not a huge deal as you'll be out and about in brighton, but if you're relying on wi-fi to contact people it's a real pain.
Also the paper thin curtains mean that no matter what time you go to bed you'll be waking up with the sunrise, very annoying if you've been out late at Brighton's many pubs and clubs.
The lack of air conditioning or even a fan really shows as well during the summer months, not easy to sleep when it's around 30 degrees in your room.
All in all not an awful hotel, but if you want wi-fi, if you like sleeping in, or if you don't do well in heat, i'd recommend staying somewhere else. read more
