As soon as I pull into the parking lot, he's already whining to get out of the car and in to the facility, and he just can't wait to go back in to the play area. (He doesn't even look back at me! Hahaha.) Backing up a bit, I really liked how the staff did an initial assessment of our dog before letting him attend group plays. They assess every new dog, and group them by personality, not size. This is really important, as dog behavior is based on attitude and personality, not size. So we can feel confident our dog is grouped only with dogs that will play in similar ways, and be safe. The facility is quite large, having three separate group play areas. Every group play area that allows outside access (weather permitting). And as the weather warms up, they even turn on the splash pads for dogs who like to play in the water. Wags also offers grooming, boarding, and training. We are planning to put our dog in to the training now that he is very comfortable being at Wags. And eventually, suspect we'll need to use the overnight boarding. The staff are all wonderful and love dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

They treat him like a part of their family. Jamie has always responded quickly to my texts and phone calls, she's very experienced, knowledgeable, patient, friendly, kind - I can tell Jett is completely comfortable with Jamie and her family. I called to see about boarding, I had to…read moremake ran emergency trip out of town and it was the only place that didn't need a visit before so my hands were tied on where to go. I have never boarded my dog and I will never do it again there! The woman at the from desk was nice enough but the gentleman (I use the word very loosely) looked like he was on drugs and told my dog if he wasn't nice to him he wouldn't eat! Excuse me?! Reluctantly, I let him take my dog back. I had no other choice at this point. I asked the girl at the front desk if they were gonna be nice to my dog and she said yeah that was a little creepy. I'm sorry he's new! So two days later I come to get my baby and all I hear is parking from all the dogs like it just oh I'm upset barking, it was unnerving! I finally got my baby out and home and he drank probably a half a gallon of water when we got here he was very dehydrated. Never again! I wouldn't use them if it was the last boarding facility in town!
