Well, before I got my kitchen sink fixed, I'd had a kitchen misstep that made a mess of the area rug in my kitchen. First world problems and all, I wanted it fixed but due to its size I was having a hard time finding someone to clean it. Per ushe, I turned to the Jelps and found Pro-Care. Working with Pro-Care was incredibly easy. They've turned on the Request-A-Quote feature, so I was able to give all my details, needs and wants within one platform. They messaged me back pretty quickly and gave me a fair quote. They have a money-back deal for first-time customers but my rug size didn't make me applicable. They promised, though, to keep my discount on file for future use. I drove my rug over to Fesslers Lane and it was ready for pick up in, about, two weeks. The rug was as good as new and I was a happy customer. The tech was prompt, courteous, and provided a good quote. We decided to go ahead and booked the cleaning appointment over the phone a few hours after the visit. I was told we were on the books, and would get a call the day before to nail down a specific time. Unfortunately, it took 4 phone calls to get ahold of someone. On the first call, Monique hung up on me. On the second call, she told me I should receive a call, text, and email from dispatch between the hours of 4pm and 5pm. This call took place at 4:45. I was never contacted by dispatch. I called again after 5 and got another worker who said she would take my information and have them call me in the morning. The morning of the cleaning, I called again since I hadn't heard anything still. I spoke with Monique again, who said she would reach out to the tech and management to call me, but that my appointment was on the books for that morning. About half an hour later, I got a call from management, who told me that they had me on the books for a different day. I told her that was unacceptable, as it was not the day we originally agreed on, and I had taken off work to be able to be home for this appointment. I told her also that Monique had told me I was on the books for that morning. The manager told me that Monique was not able to see any of that information, yet Monique was able to look at my appointment and address...I'm not sure which one was lying to me, but I don't appreciate being lied to by a business. The manager I spoke said she would check with the tech to see if he could squeeze me in today, and made it seem like she was doing me a favor. Eventually, I got a call from the tech that he would be coming in 30 minutes. The tech was prompt, courteous, and did a thorough job. I asked about the appointment time mix up and if they were really busy trying to squeeze me in, and he said my appointment was the only one he had today. The work done and cost of service are worthy of 5 stars, but I have to knock down the rating due to the poor communication, poor customer service, poor scheduling, and dishonesty about the appointment time.

2 minutes ago After…read moretaking my rug to get cleaned here, they have ruined it. On July 16,2019 I took my 8x10 area rug to be cleaned at Clean Quik Carpets. On July 30, 2019 I was contacted to come get the rug that it was ready. I went and picked it up, without them unrolling it. Once I got it home, I unrolled it to see that it was dirtier than how I had dropped it off.I immediately called "Connie" and made her aware of the issue. She advised me to return it at my convenience and they would see what they could do. I returned it the next day. I was told to give them a few days. On August 7,2019 I was called and told it was ready. Then later the same day "Connie" called again to let me know she went and looked at it and they weren't satisfied with the way it looked and they would try and clean it again. On August 14,2019 "Connie" again called to say it was now ready to pick up. I went today to get the rug. Upon arriving I asked to see the rug before placing it in my vehicle. Once it was unrolled, it is still very dirty, the color has transferred to the lighter color and the back is very dirty. I expressed how it looks a lot worse than when I originally dropped it off. The "owner" advised they had tried all they could and all he could do is give me my $160 back that they had charged to clean it. I told him that was the least he could do, especially since this is a $1,000 rug and I would take it to someone else and have them look at it. He gave me the money back and I left. Upon leaving I took it to another company. The gentleman advised that they have used a cleaner that has had to high of the PH and it has burnt the fibers and that an acid wash should've been used on it to neutralize it once it was cleaned. Also the stains on the back are due to it being wet for to long. Upon looking at it in the back of my vehicle you can see the fibers of the rug coming off. This rug is now trashed and unusable. They may be good to clean some cheap carpet a dog could sleep on. But nothing more.
