On my second assignment I worked a little over 7 months and my assignment was ended this past Friday. I received a text after 7:30 that evening advising me of such. The rep stated she would call me the following Monday to discuss what happened. By 11:30am on Monday, I had not received a call back so I reached out to the office. The young lady took a message to give to the rep since she was not in the office. Two more hours went by, nothing. I then called her boss and left a voicemail stating that I wanted to know how I was going to be able to retrieve my personal belongings and to give me a call. No call but then I get a text from the original rep saying they would send someone next week. I questioned why next week and advised I did not want my personal property picked through. I also suggested they reach out to management and have it given to a co-worker that I am friends with. I was then texted and told they could do this and needed a list of items. Wow. I sent the list. As of today, which is Wednesday, i have not received a response back. Mind you, I have also reached out via email prior to this about discriminatory issues on this very job which Aerotek staff never responded to. I've worked for temp agencies before, and assignments do end, but I have NEVER had this much hassle getting things back that belong to me. Tomorrow is Thursday. I don't care to meet with anyone, I just want MY belongings. I will be looking for a corporate contact number next.
