All of the staff here are women, & they're all very friendly and professional. I used them last year. I was so excited about the position they were sending me out to and I had…read moreone formal interview with the woman that was suppose to be my boss and then a second interview with her and her boss. Small company totally ready to go! In that course I was brerrated to no end, stripped of any authority for a managment positio, in 1 month my title changed to a lesser title. I was scoleded, told not to speak. To do nothing. Then I got put on as a telemarkter instead of the position I applied for. Sadly, I was doing EXACTLY what I was told and then would be yelled at for doing that. The person I was working for is crazy. When I say yelled I mean blood shrill yelling that made it difficult to understand even what was being said and or accused. NEVER in my life have I encourted someone so vile. I called Amanda several times and told her I didn't like it that I was being berated etc...She was presistent in me staying. Insiting the company felt like I was the right person and was happy to have me there. I asked her not to say anything and I know she did because the next day I was berated again and the same comments and language I used was shoved down my throat. It got to the point that I was dreading going to work and desperate when I go there. In the end I was asked not to come back much to my relief. Amanda told me they suspected the company was using me as a "fall guy" because the woman in charge is bat xxxx crazy. She with the man at Pridstaff said they had long suspected she was trying to control the company which was not hers or her job. Numerous other employees had been berated, including her counter part. So Amanda knew the entire time what I was going through, refused to find me a new position. So along side of the woman at the establishment, I was used as Pridstaffs puppet and fall guy. NEVER even offered to help me find another position. I'm now in a new position 9 months and it is going very well. It's a permenant position where I receive nothing but praises and I'm well received, loved and the people are amazing to work for. I understand temp agencies are working for the company but to dilberatly put someone in an abusive and stressful situtation is uncalled for and is abusive itself. I really liked the staff when I went in and was so excited to work with them but after my experience I would not recommend them and would strongly suggest if you don't like a place they put you do not ask just tell them to find a new position and you are not going back. That is what I should had done but I wanted very much to represent them well and to do well. There was no way that was going to happen working for the company they sent me out to. I was set up to fail. To boot I had a job before going to them I could had stayed at and stayed longer at until finding a stable person to work with and not have wound up with a bad "mark". Regardless of who their contracts are with this is a really lousy way to do business and to treat people.

I am very happy to say that this was NOT the case with Pride Staff! Right off the bat I felt like Matt and Amanda truly cared about what I was looking for in an employer and they had a wonderful working knowledge of possible positions. It was very evident that Pride Staff is invested not only in the companies for which they place people but also that they are invested in the people they place with those companies. During my interview with PrideStaff I felt that I was heard when expressing that company culture is important to me and I believe that Amanda and Matt truly took my personality and experience into account when thinking of places that would be a good fit for all parties involved. It was overall a very pleasant and efficient process which I couldn't be happier about! I would 100% recommend the Clearwater/Tampa PrideStaff office to anyone who is looking for a job!

I knew I had the skills and background requirements for the jobs to which I applied prior to visiting Nancy, but I was baffled as. I kept receiving one rejection letter after another. I knew if I could just land an interview, I could get any of the jobs to which I was applying. My resume was the issue. Despite having been a writer myself for many years, when it came to my own resume, I was stuck. Nancy was not only understanding and supportive, but also incredibly motivational throughout the process of rewriting and reformatting my resume. Her results were amazing. The resume wound up being both eye-catching and an accurate reflection of my achievements and experience - something I failed to capture originally. I applied to several more jobs using my new resume, and one called me back to begin their multi-step interview process with me. I made it through every step, from highlighting my past work, to a successful phone interview, to a successful presentation and further interviews in front of a 7 person panel, and finally through an extensive reference check and psychological screening to be offered exactly the job I wanted. A job that is perfect for me in every way. I never would have gotten that phone call from HR though if my resume wasn't top notch. I owe a huge thanks to Nancy, and will try to post this review for her anywhere I can.
