They have repaired plywood that was not appropriate for roofing. They found a hole for venting an exhaust fan that was covered over by plywood. You stated you would be there at my home when the redo of the roof was done. You weren't. My current carpenters did the job and had gotten paid , and who knows when I will need them again in the future for restorative work roof or otherwise. They did their job and did it well. I've learned a fine lesson from this, research and ask numerous people for decent contractors. As for the owner of Elite, you eventually have to answer to a higher power. I've taken pictures, but they will stay with me. My carpenters did their job , and am proud of the work they did.

It took a while for me, as a first-time homeowner, to understand that this meant I had a leak in the roof, because I thought it might somehow be a plumbing issue (it was a leak down the bathroom's exhaust vent pipe). The plumber said roofer. I found Manny because I was looking for someone to repair my front porch steps, and given that he was also a roofer, I asked him to give his opinion on what I hoped was a minor issue that could just be repaired, but it turns out that it needed a whole new roof, because the flashing around the pipe was bad, and with further inspection, turned out to be missing shingles, on top of THREE layers of roofing that they'd just kept putting more on. Manny made it easy to coordinate with the insurance company, and what a relief that they agreed to pay for the majority of the roof (but not the tower, which was actually the portion that was in the worst condition, but it wasn't storm damaged, just old). But his help in coordinating made it possible to get it all done, including repairing my front steps, because the cost would have been overwhelming without the insurance part of the equation. The workers were all so kind and helpful, particularly in maneuvering in the tight spaces that is my yard/driveway to get the trash to the curb on trash day around the dumpster in the driveway. Thankfully this work was completed in the winter so no worries about crushing blooms in my front garden, but I also appreciated how they put down tarps over all the plants to protect them, used nets to slide debris into the dumpster, and came back around to clean up after--including using a magnet to catch stray nails. I did unfortunately lose a blueberry bush and I'm a little worried about my blackberry canes, but overall they did their best and while I'd have preferred leaving my leaf mulch down, there's no way to distinguish between the leaf mulch and trash, so you shrug and deal with it. I'm sure the perennials will be fine come spring. As you can see from the pictures, my 1886 Victorian has quite a complicated roofline, and they were able to preserve the profile of the roof, put everything back where it ought to go, and then they'll be coming back in a couple of weeks to patch up the interior places where I originally realized there was damage.

We just had windows and doors replaced by another company and they scuffed up the new red door and one of the windows. They said they would replace the door. We are now almost in May and still have not heard from them. We brought up the nails all around the house and nothing was done about that. For the gutter, one of the guys face the downspout towards the house instead of away from the house. With the amount of money we paid. Service should be better. We shouldn't have to point out things. They were very respectful of our home and placed drop cloths anywhere they would be working and along their walking paths. After the job was complete, they vacuumed and cleaned up any mess. We were home during the entire process and overheard the employees constantly making sure that everything was aligned perfectly. The gentleman that initially came for the quote and final measurements was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions in great detail. This review is happening because of poor workmanship a less than a year after the job was done, I…read moream including the whole story because it needs to be known why I refuse to call them to fix the issue. We had an issue with our basement windows. After many calls to various companies we settled on using Tonnotti. I am a huge advocate of using the mom & pop establishment. From the moment of contacting them we were upfront & honest that we would need to finance the job after the down payment. Every time we spoke with someone we got a song & dance about looking for a new company with better terms for financing. Skip ahead to the installation day, the work is completed & we were asked for payment. Imagine our surprise when that happened, we explained about the financing & the worker said he would have someone reach out to us. The office called & explained that their finance company didn't finance anything under $3,500 and we would have to find another way to pay. I was furious and told them so. I felt like we had been baited & switched because they knew our position. Then last week with all the rain we came home from a funeral service out of state to find out basement once again filled with water. You maybe asking yourself well how can that be? When we cut away the expanding foam the silicone they used around the window was a joke it was minimal & it pulled out without any effort. So now having to not only deal with a home in New Hampshire that a tree fell on, a mother who's had to move into assisted living I now have to deal with trying to find someone, I will have to pay more money, reliable to come in & fix the shawty workmanship of a shady company. Thank goodness we had the floor done not soon after so the water cleanup is so much easier. Update 7/17/24 the new pictures added to the end are from the rain on the 17th...this is what 3k gets you.
