Looked up my cell and called unsolicited to try and list my home. It's not on the market and I did not request contact.

Jeff sold a condo in Dearborn that I inherited. I live far from Michigan. Jeff did find a buyer…read moreand sell it swiftly, which I appreciate. That said, I believe Jeff has far too many clients to handle each with reasonable professionalism. When I asked for an estimate of closing costs, he texted me a photo of a hand-written calculation literally on the back of an envelope. When I asked if he could help me work with the other parties involved to schedule a closing when I could be available to travel to Michigan, he said that was impossible, blamed other parties for lack of ability to try to coordinate and spoke to me in a very condescending tone. To try to make things simpler, I agreed to close from afar, but still asked for ample time to review the documents, get them notarized and get to an overnight mail service before it closed to send them back. He then copied me on an e-mail to the title company and other party in which he blamed me for "needing more than the 5 minutes this should take." When I called him on his lack of professionalism and asked for photos of the alleged leak in my condo caused by the disconnection of the refrigerator that he suggested I sell via the estate sale agent he recommended, he yelled at me that he did not have time for that and hung up on me. When I called him back irate at his lack of professionalism, he hung up on me again. I was taken aback that anyone would treat a client this way. And after all that, he calculated his commission of 6% on the initial sale price before the price reductions he negotiated with the buyer. While I had agreed to the priced reductions, I absolutely did not agree that he should get a commission on money I did not get. Our contract stated that he'd get a commission the actual sale price and he never discussed any other approach with me. I view him to be condescending and unprofessional. I'm sorry to say I would not recommend him. That said, his wife Carol who handles the paperwork is respectful and responsive.
