The lady at the front desk was welcoming and knowledgeable about the museum. I like the addition of interactive pieces in the museum which made the experience better. They have a souvenir stand at the back and a guessing game. If you win the guessing game you get to choose between two shirts. I got the Roanoake tape measure and a free shirt from the guessing game. All in all it was a lunch break well spent and the ladies working there were lovely. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Best of all, our friends were allowed to participate and expand on their knowledge. All their questions were answered so patiently and the children were allowed to touch certain items and explore. The kindness of all these women blew my mind. They even hugged us without hesitation at the end of our unscheduled tour. Also, we are now in their Facebook page, so Yes, they made us famous. The knowledge was there. The passion was there. The interaction was there. My questions were answered. He showed us video footage during our walking tour to back the events of 11-22-63. And because the walking tour was just my mom and I, he drove us along the route. We discussed every turn, every conspiracy theory and never missed a beat. It was a tour from someone who lives and breathes his job. I will gladly take a longer tour in the future because there is so much more I want to see. Side note: I was impressed with how downtown Dallas preserves its history. Everything along the route was there in 1963. I post on more than one platform so I will be leaving this review there and this is my personal first hand experience.

He reached out via text prior to start of the tour to provide important information and just say hello and introduce himself. Photo included! He was a great driver and very patient with participants. It was unseasonably hot that day and he kept checking to make sure everyone was doing OK. Even assisting the ladies(myself included) into and out of the van. I love that it was a small group. Makes it more personal. We went to all the major sites in just over three hours. Cost is very reasonable($62.99) and I booked through Viator who also does a great job! This tour is HIGHLY recommended!

During my search one of the first things I stumbled across was Elm Street Studio. I loved the reviews and pictures on yelp so my co-host reached to get all the info on everything. The process was pretty easy and it was priced reasonably. Even more importantly the venue was adorable and the perfect size. We were planning to host a group of 25 ladies. The venue has a nice front room, a center area which is good for a couple of tables, a back room with fire place that is pretty big and a nice size kitchen. We used all the indoor space for our event. There is also a lovely backyard and patio area that can be used for different things as well. Everyone was super nice and accommodating to us. We got so many compliments on what a cool venue this place was for a baby shower. I would absolutely recommend this spot if you are looking to host an event. I think it would be really cool to have a small wedding and reception here.

It is cozy and trendy and makes for a great place to host any event. Jessi, the event manager, and Shelly, owner, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Jessi helped us set up the décor on the day of the event. There are three rooms that you can use and were able to MORE than comfortably accommodate our party of 25. They have a beautiful backyard that can be used too. I would definitely recommend this venue to my family and friends. Thank you Jessi and Shelly, we are so pleased. You made our event SO memorable. Wish you success and growth!

Our tour guide Charlie did an excellent job covering the unique history of Fort Worth as we walked the main blocks of Sundance Square. He was a great story teller and very engaging. We felt sad to see what an impact COVID has had on the city - there are very few people out (on a Monday morning, anyway... it was hopping last Sat night!) plaza is no longer a place for gathering. The fountains are shut off, many restaurants have closed, and multiple museums have not reopened (not even the visitor center!). I wouldn't have been surprised to see a tumbleweed rolling down main street. From the tour we learned of many ups and downs Fort Worth has experienced over the years, and we hope this situation is no different. I'm ready to see Fort Worth's revival! In the meantime, whether you're a tourist or resident, check out these walking tours and fall in love with Fort Worth!
