You know if the venue is recommending a DJ they will be good, but Barry was so much better than just good. He met with us multiple times before the event to make sure he knew what we wanted. He set up everything the day of the reception. He had mics available for the toasts on one floor and the complete lighting/speaker setup for dancing on another floor of the venue. We had dancing for around 4 hours and the selection of music was perfect. Barry had the crowd up on their feet, was dancing himself, and created the perfect atmosphere. I have never seen a wedding where the dance floor was never empty. His prices were reasonable. We will be using him for any party we need a DJ at in the future. We had hip-hop, rap, cumbia's, reggaetón, top 40's, Spanish rock, and everything else I requested. It was mixed beautifully and just flowed one song into another all night. He was great in keeping us on schedule all night. Even when our wedding reception got completely out of control and the fire alarm went off at the Ashland Springs Hotel, David did not miss a beat and continued to keep the party going. Even if it was a real fire (thank god it wasn't!) and the hotel might of been burnt down, David and his equipment would still be standing pumping music! Everyone at our wedding complimented us on how well balanced the night was with music. His set up was top notch with lights, music, and fog. There was never a dull moment and did not have any technical difficulties. We highly recommend David for all your musical needs for your special occasions.
