Additionally, we had an issue with the angle of our driveway as our house is on an incline such that the bottom of our car scraped when we would drive in and out of it. A friend recommended Carl from Guarco Construction, so we reached out. He came over to take a look and we were struck by how knowledgeable, personable, and professional he was. By the time he gave us a quote and left, we decided not to approach anyone else for a quote and hired Carl and Guarco Construction for the job. He listened very closely to us and showed how he fully understood our needs for the job. When he and his crew arrived, they were professional, efficient, and effective. They completed all their work in a few hours. We're so pleased with how the driveway turned out, it feels brand new and doesn't scrape our car at all anymore! I highly recommend Carl and Guarco Construction to anyone, we couldn't have asked for a better team for the job.

They broke our drain, dismissed our concerns, and then refused responsibility when it flooded. We had to hire someone else to fix it. Much of the work we paid for--like power washing, gutter cleaning, and reseeding--was never done. What was done was rushed, messy, or poorly executed. We have spent more money fixing their mistakes than on their services. Save yourself the frustration--look elsewhere.

We will now be expanding on custom built stone stairs leading to our backyard and planting around our home now that we experienced his attention to detail and creative solutions. Jon communicated very well before and during the project. We never had a doubt as Jon set clear expectations and then delivered without question. The value received far outweighs the cost of the work. His quote was in line with other quotes we received, ultimately he won the bid and we could not be more pleased with the partnership. His teams was professional, and mindful of our home and of our neighbors. They worked expediently and amazingly clean for what is traditionally a dirty job. Our site was a difficult location to design and bring equipment in and out, this too was not a challenge for Jon as decades of experience made this routine. I will "soon" have Jon perform additional design work and will recommend him to family, friends and anyone looking for a creative, experienced and thoughtful professional for your landscaping needs.
