But then the assistant said "is that the spot"? I could hardly breath as it was horribly painful, but I answered "yes". Apparently there wasn't any room between my vertebrae to inject the steroids. As they told me they couldn't really do anything more, I was moved to the bed to go back to my room. As I was being rolled back to the room, the doctor's assistant said "I hope you're happy".... my reply was "pardon me". She said I had been whining too much to keep injecting the medication!!! Seriously, the ONLY thing or sound I made was the word "Yes" when asked if that was the nerve that hurt. I was grateful for the darling nurse (Andrea) at St Luke's. She asked how it went, and my silence and tears pretty much told the story. She was so very kind. But what was just done to me made the nerve that was already so very painful, fire up like a blow torch. My advice? NEVER EVER, EVER GO TO DR. SEVERSON who is supposed to be a pain doc. What a joke. A TOTAL jerk plus he didn't help..... apparently he missed the part in the Hippocratic Oath that's says "do no harm". A medieval torture chamber might have been better. Wish there was a ZERO star review option!!!!! Add to this the financial cost.... DON'T DO IT!!!!!

I drove to the office to talk to someone and not only would they not talk to me (they have in-house billing) but the front desk woman was exceptionally rude. I called the # on the bill where a lovely woman looked at my account and after some digging realized that it was their fault - she told me they had billed my insurance incorrectly and that she would fix it. She also told me just to ignore any others bills. It's now been another 5 months and I have now gotten a bill from a collection agency. It's not worth the hassle - Go Somewhere Else if you can.
