It was quite an event and a memory that I draw on when ever I'm back to visit this beautiful city. I have several friends who graduated from this prestigious college. Because of that I had many opportunities to visit the campus. I always appreciated the unique Frank Lloyd Wright architecture as well. On my most recent visit 2/17/25, I took the FLW 1.5 hour tour which was fantastic and I highly recommend it.

People really care about you here! Great Christian atmosphere, lots of serving opportunities in the community. There's improvements they definitely could make, as no school is without its faults. The school gym hours are only for athletes, unless a few evening hours you're open. Although the gym partnership with Crunch is nice, it's a 20 min drive one away, which takes a lot of time. School communication regarding sporting events (besides football) could be better. Additionally, another meal restaurant/option on campus would be nice.

Anyone who is looking to go to this college, even for your prerequisites, do not waste your time. I…read morehave been attending this school for two years, and I have barely got anything done because of how awful the professors are. It feels like they are hiring ANYONE to teach. The two top worst professors I've had are Professor Caldecutt and Professor Copeland. I think this school should care more about who they hire as professors, just because they have a degree DOES NOT mean they can teach the material. Do the hiring staff not look at rate my professor??? Another aspect that was quite annoying was always having classes with high schoolers. All of my classes had immature highschoolers. I don't care if they are in collegiate, they should separate the actual college students from the high schoolers. It feels like highschool all over again. Polk state was just a huge waste of time. I will be transferring to HCC in the fall, to get stuff DONE so I can (finally) transfer to a university.
