The other was last week when she hired him to remove a dead ash that was threatening our home. Both times he did the job properly but was rude in the process. On this occasion, we spoke with him by phone about his plans to go all the way across our property and onto our driveway in order to remove the debris. He reluctantly agreed to take the shorter route on our neighbor's property, but when he arrived he started to set up in front of our house. It took several attempts and the threat to deny permission to access our property before he finally became civil and did as we asked. The tree which was very tall and difficult to remove came down with only a little damage to our oak, but Josh never acknowledged or apologized for his rude behavior. The bottom line is that if you want a skilled tree service with seasaoned workers, and you don't mind being treated badly, Josh is your man.

They cut two trees, and yanked out a huge old tree house in a few hours. They have their own trucks and equipment which makes the process a breeze! I've never seen anyone clean up after yard work as well as these guys. Even our own lawn people don't pay thay much attention to clean up if you can believe that compared to these guys! They raked and blew out small branches, leaves, and wood chips from our yard, drive way, and those of our neighbors! But once the work is finished, his attitude completely changes and he becomes very rude. He did not properly remove the dirt, just piled up stones, and you can still see the fabric underneath. The quality of work was terrible. This was one of the worst experiences we've had with a contractor. The person we dealt with was Ben, and based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Please be careful before hiring them.

I hired Ecoscape to help deal with my neglected, overrun yard in the house we recently purchased…read more The previous owners had rented it out for many years and stopped taking care of it, and it was engulfed in invasive species such as grapevines, trees of heaven, and knotweed. The trees and plants that were *supposed* to be there were overgrown, unhealthy, and we're even growing into the sidewalk so our neighbors were also impacted! Lyle and his team spent two days removing, spraying, trimming, pruning, yanking, cutting, and sweating to help get my yard not only as free as possible of invasive species, but looking quite nice! Of course when landscaping gets so neglected, the recovery process is going to be several seasons, but this is a great start. Lyle and Tom were extremely knowledgeable, educated me on the plants I have and how to maintain them myself as much as possible, were able to recommend native plants to replace some of the invasives with (other are just pests and need to go), and were communicative and up front about schedule, cost, and what was possible.
