I also saw her work with two others during my hour (typically 2-3 clients per therapist at my locale) and noted that her attentive listening skills, careful monitoring of correct positioning (even from across the room) and thoughtful selection of moves based on supplied info was the same high quality for each client. She's also got a warm, humorous but also professional demeanor that put me at ease and made me feel secure about my care and even made it pleasant experience. I do not passionately crave all types of exercise, so that was a good motivator. Again, she was subbing for just one day, but I understand that she's new to the Prospect practice, so thought it might be helpful to provide this single-visit snapshot.

After 15 minutes of sitting right in front of the desk, I received an automated email stating I was a "no-show." When I flagged this, the receptionist tried to claim I was "late" and that my therapist, Anushka, needed to reschedule me. This is completely false. I was on time and waiting in the lobby the entire time. To make matters worse, they then suggested I could still be seen 20 minutes into my time slot, which is totally unacceptable and unfair to any patient. I am 32 weeks pregnant and do not have the energy to deal with this kind of run-around. Between the clerical errors and the attempt to blame the patient for their own mistake, I will not be returning. The student's credentials were not presented and I still got to pay the full price for a session where it seemed like most of the session time was dedicated to scheduling appointments for follow up visits. I smell private equity here. Copay was the same as if I had a seasoned therapist. Not okay to bait and switch and not ask for consent to be a guinea pig while I was in serious pain. I needed an experienced therapist for the initial visit and would have been happy to see a student once my pain was managed. But the complete lack of disclosure drained my trust in this operation that I understand was once a great PT place. Several signs that those days are over.
