Excellent installation of new lawn watering system! I expected my lawn to be cut up and torn up by…read morethe installation of underground water lines and valves. But Precision's work was so careful and precise, that their finished work was INVISIBLE! I watched all the lines and valves being installed, but the afternoon that the large crew finished and cleaned up, there was no damage to be found, the lawn looked like they had never even been there! Rachio controller and smartphone app are a pleasure to understand. Tech set up all programming and settings, explaining everything to me. System monitors the weather and runs automatically with no need to adjust. Pricing was very reasonable and fair (I know that because I gathered 5 other quotes) Very satisfied with owner Mark Schwartz and the entire installation.

This review is long overdue. I met with Jim last year to discuss irrigation for our property after…read morewe had redone our entire landscape. Worked backwards, but due to the lack of rain last year, an irrigation system is a piece of mind that I needed. I agreed to have him and his crew install our irrigation this Spring. Jim showed up that morning with his crew and reviewed the scope of work. I also added lighting, in which he provided me with a few options. The crew was a pleasure to deal with. The foreman explained the entire system to me and set it all on a timer. A week after you can't even tell that irrigation lines were installed. The grass and plants get the proper watering and the lighting enhances our property at night. I would definitely recommend Precision Sprinklers and Outdoor Lighting to anyone looking for a professional company who's price is better than other competitors.

I recently completed a kitchen remodeling project with Matra Construction Co. and Estate Cabinetry,…read morea father-son affiliation. This was my third kitchen remodeling (two at my current house, thirty-odd years apart), along with many other remodeling projects. The Matras was among the very best of the numerous home improvement contractors I have worked with over the years. The planning stage was with Rocco. At my home and at the Estate Cabinetry showroom in Croton, he made great suggestions for materials, designs and colors and was obliging when once-or-twice I changed my mind on a selection or found something I liked online. During the three-week construction period, Anthony was on the job almost every day and Rocco was there often. Both take an old-school pride in their craftsmanship. Their crew was meticulous and the job site was always left neat and clean at the end of the day. The Matras did the entire project: planning, demo, installation, electrical, plumbing, taping, and painting. The only sub-contracting was for the granite countertop, which they handled as well. It was convenient one-stop shopping. Another plus was that Anthony and Rocco were very easy to communicate with throughout the process, promptly responding to texts, calls, and e-mails. Estate Cabinetry and Matra Construction are first-rate home-improvement outfits and I give them the highest recommendation. PGS
