Then she started chatting with the passenger on the front seat and missed her exit to the airport. She had to reroute and it put 30 minutes into our schedule. Finally we got to the airport she dropped all of us off at the arrival level -- added additional time to our 30 minutes to go to departure level. The whole time she continued talking incessantly with the passenger, talking about her life: her daughter graduating, how she lived in Alaska, how Florida is full of stupid people, on and on .....I feel that she compromised our safety, and delayed our arrival.

I booked my reservation online at : https://miamidoubledecker.com/ and made my payment at the south beach office/pick up spot(305 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139) that morning that you are picked up-$40 cash only Cindy picked us up right on time in a double decker bus. She was nice enough to do a mini city tour as we left the city. She had a great attitude the whole way through and made sure we were comfortable before we left (seeing if the air conditioning was ok and if anyone needed translation in Spanish). She gave us a return time after the 6 hour free time at key west, warning us about how expensive it can be to Uber back but not in a threatening manner(I've been on tours where the bus driver was actually going to leave us stranded if we didn't return on the dot). She made sure we were all on the bus before we left. We even got back 30 min early. They offer discounts for the hop on hop off while you're on the bus(cash only)

Here is where it gets ridiculous: We went to the other company, paid $35 (Miami Tours charged us $50), and got on a professional, punctual bus. Ten minutes later, that bus stopped right in front of Miami Tours to pick up more passengers. The EXACT SAME STAFF MEMBER who told us their tour was cancelled and that there were no other options boarded our new bus to escort the group. When I confronted him, he pretended he didn't know us. The Aftermath: Zero Accountability: I have sent multiple refund requests through their website--ignored. Abysmal Service: I called their office four times. Every single time, the representative hung up the phone on me before I could even finish explaining the issue. Better Value Elsewhere: The competitor a block away is not only $15 cheaper, but their schedule (10:20-20:50) is far superior to Miami Tours' restrictive 09:30-17:00 window. Their fleet of vehicles are run down and poorly maintained. We reached out to the owner, Eyal Alan Karp, to try and resolve our issue but he was so cocky and did not care. He had our money and that's all that mattered to him. Check out the reviews for both companies and form your own opinion. But when you own two companies with one star reviews you should probably consider your business approach.

The driver, Andrew, picked us (me, wife, son, and daughter) up at our hotel in a large modern, comfortable van. Andrew was very friendly and he knew his stuff. It's one thing to be informed on Miami history, culture, and trends. If you ever needed to build a trivia team but lacking on Southern Florida expertise, Andrew would be your guy. While being informative is helpful, what made our experience enjoyable was Andrew's hospitality. He was extremely kind and courteous in making sure we were satisfied. He answered all my questions of curiosity. He gave insights that not many could have given. After being picked up in Ft Lauderdale, he drove us to Coconut Grove and then to Little Havana (where we had a chance to get out and be among the Cuban influence). We then went through downtown Miami and were given an option to be dropped off by the harbor or on South Beach. It was a no-brainer for us as we wanted to see South Beach. So we were given about six hours on our own at South Beach. The timing worked perfectly for us as we ate lunch (great Cuban place - Puerto Sagua), walked all around South Beach, squeezed in a dinner, before being picked up and driven back to FtL. We enjoyed this experience very much. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Miami or nearby. In particular, if you have a chance to tour with Andrew as your guide, I would seize that opportunity. At the end of the journey in hell, we had one ill passenger. I contacted the company who said that they would give us a 300.00 credit for future travel. We paid over $2, 450.00 for this trip. This was the company's way of reimbursing us. A slap in the face. We do not wish to travel with you again and would wish a refund. The company has ignored any emails or messages sent. We had to resort to a lawyer to assist us with this issue.
