Hawkins was called out in the wee hours of the morning for an accident my daughter had in my car…read more When I called to find out what I needed to do, the gentleman who answered the phone - the son of Mr. Hawkins - was so patient and kind with all of my questions. As I signed the paperwork for the tow company, a beautiful young lady had me sign paperwork and suggested I give verbal agreement for my insurance company to come and pick up my car. That was just great. She saved me a trip in and sped things up with Insurance. Its nice to know there are still businesses out there that look out for their customers. I hope to never need their services again, but if I do - Hawkins Towing & Recovery will be the first call I make.

I called 10 minutes before close and spoke with an employee who promised to get back with me in the morning. I was called by Chuck, the owner, within an hour. He did not have the part in-stock, but was very willing to order one at about 1/2 the price of Midas. We discussed options and he referred me to a local shop to see if they could fix the rim without us buying a new one. Chuck took the time out of his evening to help us out and didn't make a dime. You helped ease the stress of college parents, and helped us save nearly $175.

The Ford Explorer lost control due to icy road conditions when leaving apartment complex. The SUV…read morewent up a curb, took out a small tree then down the curb. The manager stated they assessed the damage of the Explorer through walking around the Explorer when parked and not checking underneath such as the rear suspension and rear tires. They missed a catastrophic crack on the inside wheel rim of rear tire placing my daughter and the drivers around her while she was driving from Bloomington IN to Chicago. The four wheel alignment was not done correctly and had to be fixed by a different Ford Service On Feb.11, the Final Bill provided when the car was completed yet, on Feb.20th a new Final Bill was sent to State Farm requesting additinal payments for new line items expenses. When comparing the two Final Bills, the discrepancies also included changing the name of the initial claims adjuster

I thought I was calling Mikels Towing and Recovery, but what I got was Bland Towing. I guess they…read morebought Mikels Towing. Anyway, the lady was very helpful on the phone and gave me a quote of $132, but when the guy showed up he said it was $185. I had a appointment at Hubbard to get my transmission programmed, so we paid the guy that said amount. The Towing guy was rude, lazy and unprofessional. He hooked up my truck to the tow bar and strapped it down, with the extra strap he was going to put it in my passager side door, but it was locked. Instead of using the key to unlock the door, he wrapped the strap around my antenna. Needless to say, by the time my truck got to Hubbard I had no antenna, a dent in the quarter panel and paint was removed from my quarter panel because of the strap. I contacted their claim guy who looked at my truck and said they would fix the issues, but after our conversation he hasn't returned my call. Oh and I let them know that they're still using Mikels Towing on the internet...isn't that false advertising? Using Mikels reviews as theirs!!! Just a heads up...make sure you get who you call.
